Playing with paper dolls is simply delightful. It's a craft that transcends generations. Today our design team played with Julie Nutting's paper doll line to create a vast variety of projects, showing the true versatility of her stamps, dies, and ephemera! If you love cards and tags Julie's whole line (from stamps, dies, to ephemera) will be perfect. But you can also try her line with mixed-media, mini-albums, and planners. Come see!
"I decided to create two mini albums with Heaven Sent 2 for my nephews. These lovely Julie Nutting stamps are the axis of the cover. I stamped and cut the babies and bear, then painted them with watercolors. I embellished the pages with some pieces of ephemera, stickers, ribbons, dies, Art Ingredients, and Impasto paint. For more dimension I pasted some flowers. I never pass up the chance to create some pages without photos - just for fun!" ~ Vero Atienza

Julie's lines have been some of my favorites. Her stamps are so unique and beautiful. Not only can you stamp on patterned paper to create traditional paper dolls, but you can also stamp with permanent ink on watercolor paper to create your own watercolored paper dolls! That is probably my favorite way to use Julie's adorable stamps! How do you like to use them? Share with us below or in our Julie Nutting Doll Club!
Wonderful creations.
