We would like to welcome a very talented guest to our blog today! We first spotted her in our Julie Nutting Doll Club group on Facebook and loved her designs! She makes the Julie Nutting dolls look so beautiful on her cards and other papercrafts! Can you tell where she is from? Scroll on down for more clues.
"Hi! My name is Nelleke de Wilde and I'm from the Netherlands...which is near Germany and Belgium in northern Europe. Sometimes we call it Holland too! I'm the very special Guest Designer for Prima this month!"
"I was born, raised, and still live in Amersfoort. This city is in the centre of the Netherlands, about 30 miles from Amsterdam. Amersfoort has many really old houses and buildings which were built in the medieval ages. Because of this, and the fact that we have great public transportation, we receive many tourists during the year!"
"Personally I am single and work in the administration department of a construction company. In 2002 I became seriously ill, had sever fatigue and, as a result, I needed to find a new hobby. That is when I discovered digital scrapbooking and cardmaking! My favorite website is Pinterest, like many other crafters I suppose. What a fabulous place for great ideas. And that, my friends, is where I found Julie Nutting doll stamps for the first time. I just loved them and went on the internet to find the stamps here in the Netherlands. Unfortunately it is really difficult to find them here, so I bought a few from an American site. Until that moment I had not done any stamping, but I found Youtube videos and learned how."
"I like to combine digital scrapbook kits and 3D decoupage sheets with the Julie Nutting stamps. I print the paper designs on inexpensive photo paper for my projects using a digital software program. It is a bit of a sport to find matching embellishments and papers! (Cards showcased above feature Ruby and Jeanne.)
"I would like to thank Julie Nutting and Prima for all of the great products! I find it so therapeutic and relaxing to make projects. And, finally, your Facebook group "Julie Nutting Doll Club by Prima' is the best! It is an inspiring and positive place with amazing people. It is such a joy to read and check out other people's projects. Here is a BIG THANKS from me to you! I hope you enjoy my projects!" (Natalie- 910426 featured above.)
Dolls featured above are Camille- 911409, Nicki - 910181, and Tasha 910372.)
