Hello dears!
Today it's my turn to inspire you and to tell you a little bit about myself.
My name is Ola Khomenok. I'm 41 years old. I was born in Ukraine, but I have lived most of my life in Israel.

I'm married with two sweet kids. I was a professional graphic designer, but after my son's birth I decided to quit my job and become a stay at home mom. And I'm sure it was a good decision.
My love for scrapbooking began while making wedding and birthday custom-order albums. But, after a few years of this kind of work, I felt like it's not enough for me as an artist, because it wasn't feeding my soul.
So, I decided to create more for myself, to try new materials and to learn new techniques. And I started to teach classes in my country. Very quickly mixed-media turned into my biggest passion. And the greatest inspiration for me was Finnabair's (Anna Dabrowska) work. I love mixed-media for its unlimited possibilities and a variety of materials. For people like me, who get bored very quickly, mixed-media is just paradise.
I love to try new materials, or to find new uses for old objects. I can't spend even a day without creating. I love everything about it. All styles and techniques. I love Shabby, Steampunk, Vintage, Grunge. I love making layouts, altered projects, art paintings, just everything. 😊
The style of each of my works depends on my mood in that moment. 😊
Today I created for you this handmade panel with a beautiful inspirational quote, using a lot of Finnabair's line products (the best mixed-media products ever!) in mixed-media techniques.

Beautiful! Can you please tell me what are the die cuts? Are they chipboard or cut with a die? Thank you!

We will ask Ola!

Thank you Cynthia! I used in this project both of types. Some of them chipboard die cuts (gears and watch face) and some of them I made with a BigShot machine and metal dies. Unfortunately I don't remember the manufactures, I bought them a long time ago. If you want, just send me email to olush.olush@gmaul.com, and I'll look for you.
