"These cards got their inspiration from old paper, tea and the tones of the “Lets Be Adventurers” paper. I wanted to keep the cards a bit grungy and vintage looking so I used corrugated cardboard, lace and metal embellishments in them. To give them something sweet I used Mica powders for coloring and embellished the cards using pretty Prima blooms." ~ Riikka Kovasin

"Mother's Day is a special day to celebrate the ones who brought us into the world. Unfortunately for a LOT of us, it may be a saddened day if our mother has gone, so this was a bit hard to do and pick just the right photo. But regardless of her sudden passing almost 2 years ago now, I will celebrate her. I will celebrate her in every wonderful ting she did. I always made her something for Mother's Day, and that tradition will continue! So those of you hurting, know you are not alone. Time helps, doesn't heal, but, they become our guardian angels.
