I'm Stéphanie Papin, and I come from France, or more precisely, I live in the Vendée, a region on the seafront. I have been very passionate about scrapbooking for ten years now, and I confess that from the beginning, I was fascinated by Prima! They have such amazing flowers, embellishments, and paper collections! I am always in love with their colors and designs. I love the originality and romantic side of the Prima collections.
As I began scrapbooking, my style was somewhat different. I always loved the shabby side, and on my first layouts, a shabby and romantic style appeared, but my layouts were less detailed. Indeed, I also confess that in my scrap and in my personal life, I'm a perfectionist; so when I work on a project, I never know when my project is finished because I still constantly add more details.
I have a wonderful husband who supports all my messes in my house somehow. I have become very invasive when I work on a new project; my desk looks more like a battlefield than a table for a workshop! My closets are so packed we can no longer close the doors. Finally, it was decided to enlarge the house. Scrapping takes up a lot of space in my life, in every sense!
Obviously, I warmly thank the Prima team for allowing me to publish my work today. It is an honor for me, and I am very happy to be here with you. I want to give a thank you to the whole team!

Title: LIVE YOUR DREAMS
"For this layout, I used the Prima November Build-A-Page as the basis. Of course, I changed a few elements. But I tried to work in the same direction. For example, I used modeling paste with a Prima texture brush to represent the corrugated paper. With this technique, it's easy to get an corrugated texture. I also placed a group of embellishments in the corner of my photo, and I choose to use a lot of colors of inks, that I precisely placed in the diagonal lines of the layout. I searched to get the same colours of the photo, and the 'Glistening Waves' colour was perfect! Then I used that colour for the different splashes, and to color the white flowers."
The Metallique Emerald Green Art Alchemy Acrylic paint was interesting to add contrast on the layout. This paint makes magic, because there are tons of different colours. The end result can be surprising, and I love that! I love to be surprised when inks and paints dry differently, or when the colors blend together. The 'Metallic Emerald Green' color has a great magical power! You absolutely must try it!"

Title: DARLING
"Darling is a monochromatic layout. I was inspired by this bright picture, and the Garden Fable Collection was perfect for me. The white and cream colours were the main colours that I used to match with the photo. As the photo reminds me a romantic and bohemian atmosphere, I added a touch of soft pink with a few pink flowers and ink."
"As base of my collage of papers, I used a few cards from the Parisian Paintables. It was interesting for me to keep the natural colour of the tags to match with the layout. I usually use many different inks and paints all over the layout. This allows you to get an airy result, just like the background of the photo. The main colours I used are Prima materials: I used the Metallique Vintage Rose, more or less diluted with water, to color white Prima flowers, and I accentuate the softness with the Chrome Color Bloom."

Title: MIXED MEDIA SHABBY TAG
"I decided to illustrate the November sketch from Riikka Kovasin with a set of rectangular papers for the collage of papers in the sketch. I began in the same way. I cut some pieces of different papers with different tones, and I tried different ways to place them until I found the best way. I confess, I often work in this way for most of my projects."
"I used different beautiful Prima embellishments to take the important place in the center of my tag. I used a round chipboard from my stash to represent the big circle in the center. I decided to accentuate the circle element with a few drawings with a wooden pencil. For the rest, I had a lot of fun with the Color Bloom Sprays by adding colours here and there. Glistening Waves and Sugar Plum were the perfect colors to illustrate the November Prima Product Picks. For more explanations on how I created the tag please check out my video tutorial!"
