We're here with two brand-new challenges! Trendy and sweet this month's Prima Product Pick envelopes fashion trends beautifully! Navy is the go-to color right now, but pair it with the softest pale pink and you have a color combination that is absolutely gorgeous!
So which Prima products can you use? Besides the ones in the collage, picture flowers in both navy and pink, Color Bloom Sprays, Chalkboard Paint, Art Sugar, Say It In Crystals, Finnabair's new Denim Journal, Glitter and Glass Beads, patterned papers, and all kinds of Prima trims and jute threads! We are sure you'll find plenty to play with for this month's PPP challenge! Our team is here with a few samples to get your creativity sparked! Stacey Young is a name a few of you might recognize! She is literally oozing with talent, has the most handsome family ever, and has recently joined our team! We are counting our blessings as she creates the most beautiful projects. We hope you help us give her a very warm welcome after you take a peek at her gorgeous layout!
Prima Products: #584535 Geo Shapes Ombre Dreams, #584337 12 x 12 Collection Kit Salvage District, #963101 Art Alchemy Silver Spoon, #963200 Art Alchemy Vintage Rose, #961473 Texture Paste White Sand, #573768 Color Bloom Storm Cloud, #573737 Color Bloom Cotton Candy, #584269 Watercolor Confections Tropicals, #963705 Art Ingredients Art Stones, #586744 Box Flowers Gold Kiss, #588106 Gypsy Cord Florica, #586416 Salvage District Flowers Galerie D'Orleans, #586478 Salvage District Flowers Marble Court, #586430 Salvage District Flowers Royal Hall, #586485 Salvage District Flowers Trianon, #584788 Salvage District SIIC, #583774 Salvage District Wood Variety
Our next project shows how easy it is to use the PPP for cards! “The colors and photos in the PPP for April are so inspiring…I was inspired to try out a stencil, layering Gesso over color, and then topping the Gesso with Mini Art Stones while it was still wet. What a fun challenge, with so many possibilities!” ~ Melissa Phillips
Raise your hand if you like pages with more than one photo! Don't get us wrong...one photo pages are amazing, but sometimes it is quite satisfying to squeeze a few more pics on the page. This month's Build-A-Page sketch has room for at least three photos, a title, and journaling...all necessities for a great layout. BUT, did you check out the background? Riikka gave us so many fantastic elements on her sketch this month! You could use pastes or sprays, watercolor or stencils, or anything else your creative mind can come up with to create that beautiful, artistic backdrop!
Our last sample is an absolute beauty! And it's filled with gorgeous techniques! "I took this sketch into an 8"x8" form using paper from the "Tales of You and Me" paper pad. Stenciling with chalk paint, and 3D Gel mixed with mica powder, replicates the dot design from the sketch. I added color with Oil Pastels, which I blended with water, and also used them to add bold lines and highlights to the project." ~ Fran Westmoreland
See Fran work her magic with a video tutorial right here! (Psst: her British accent makes it even more enjoyable to listen to!)

You can use the sketch for ANY type of project you desire: cards, tags, layouts, planners, etc. And the PPP is just gorgeous. Choose a few Prima products to use, or just use the colors, or both! The deadline is the last day in April, so you have lots of time to play.
