Happy March! As we enter a new month we also have a NEW challenge for you! This month's Prima Product Pick is just filled with good luck! Bold emerald green, shown with Finnabair's new Art Alchemy paint and our marbled flowers, is paired with softer tones of pink blush, as seen with our lacy flowers. Marbling is all the rage and is so easy to achieve with watercolors. Here's your personal invitation to join us in this month's challenge! Create any type of project using the color palette or products shown and submit right here on this post by the last day of March. You could be our next PPP winner and be featured all over our social media! Need a little motivation to get you going? (Photo credits: green armchair, pastel pink art)
Soft and sweet, Ania Hababicka chose a clean white backdrop for her project. The backdrop was created with our new Stamp N' Layer floral stamp sets, which Ania loves using for gorgeous effects, then beautiful "sister" pics are added. A floral cluster pulls everything together while metal accents add contrast and weight to the page. A few wood smartphone icons are tucked in to carry the snapshot theme throughout the page. How beautiful is this?
"I'm in love with the March PPP! It's so fresh and an inspiring moodboard! I was inspired especially by the colors - warm tones of salmon pink (which is my absolutely fav color), and the fresh and calm at the same time with emerald green. The beautiful, subtle pic from the right top corner reminded me of watercolors and color blooms, so I chose these products to create a background for my card and to color the stunning bird and stamped flowers. Robbie created some of her own accents for her stunning layout! "For this page, I used some of my favorite new products. For the first time, I added some of the new IOD Moulds to my page. These are so fabulous and make great embellishments for your pages, as well as for home decor. I also made some embellishments from the foil negatives (instead of throwing them away.) I used some of the techniques that can be found on my Live with Prima mini class right here: Prima LWP Class!" ~ Robbie Herring

A great sketch will allow you to adapt it to your photos, your style, your choice of embellishments...all while giving you fabulous elements to play with. This month's sketch, by Riikka Kovasin, simply rocked all of those necessities! With a FUN background that could be created with watercolors, stamps, die-cuts, or anything you love to play with. A few flowers embellishments help ground and anchor the layout, while lots of room is left for journaling! Just wait until you see how each of our design team and educators adapted the BAP sketch to fit their style! From a gorgeous pin-up girl, to a sweet, mischievous boy...you can simply use this sketch for any subject.
"I flipped the sketch for my project and used lots of new French Riviera products! Our daughter modeled for "PinUps for Soldiers" and I thought this picture was absolutely perfect for this wonderful collection!!!" ~ Patti Hamil

"I made an eight inch layout this time. When I saw this sketch the 1st time I imaged the globe as the circle background. So I used the paintable watercolor paper from the French Riviera collection. I painted it with oil pastels like the globe. And around the edge of the globe, created a 3D effect. I like blue and green; they are the colors of feeling peace. It is simple to paint with oil pastels while adding the texture with the metal embellishments, micro beads, and chipboard. An eight inch layout looks so good decorating your wall. I love it and will try this again!!" ~ Maiko Miwa

"I decided to use this sketch as the basis to create another page for my son's early years scrapbook. As everyone knows I love minimalist layouts with lots of white space so I minimized all aspects of the sketch and pushed them to the top corner of the page. All aspects of the sketch are there as well as a few extras to make it my own." ~ Joanne Bain

"Made a layout of my youngest son, Finnley, and that we love him unconditional, even though he is a bit of a rascal sometime everyday roaming through my kitchen drawers looking for stuff. On this picture he's gotten hold of some of my vanilla powdered sugar. He has such an innocent look on this face. I kept the sketch quite true to the original, but I switch the title on the other side where the journaling is. Then added loads of mixed-media techniques and yummy Prima embellishments." - Yasmin Tölche, Prima Educator
