Our first sample, by Delaina Burns, shows how to use the Artisan Powder two different ways on her stunning, vintage layout!
"I created this LO background using the Artisan Powder mixed with 3D Gloss Gel and also used a brushed it on a canvas alphabet with a soft paint brush. For the gel, mix to get the color you like, then apply over a stencil for a very dimensional, colored backdrop." ~ Delaina Burns
"Or apply the Artisan Powder with a soft brush over alphabets to colorize them! This is a great way to use up left-over alphas!"

Beatriz Jennings created this gorgeous vintage box! Just wait until you see how she used the Artisan Powder to transform the heart and ribbon!
Step By Step:
1- Add a little bit of Artisan Powder with a small brush to cover most of the resin heart.
2- Cover top of the box with patterned paper, sand the edges, and add more of the Artisan Powder with a sponge to the edges.
3- Make a hole on the four sides of the box to add the metal knobs, secure, and cover the inside of the box with patterned paper.
4- Add water and a little bit of the Artisan Powder on a spray bottle, spray some of the mix on top of a piece of Rosette trim and let dry.
5- Embellish the top of the box with resin heart, flowers, ribbon etc. Cover the sides of the lid with gilded trim.
6-Cover two sides of the bottom part of the box with patterned paper, cover the other 2 sides with trim. Finish with stickers on top of box.
Tip: You can add more of the Artisan Powder with a small brush on top of the paper flowers to add more dimension.

Vintage Inspired Tag - Change up the patina of any metal using the Artisan Powders to suit your crafty needs. On this tag, Cari Fennell dusted the metals for a rust effect that adds charm and age to these beautiful embellishments from the Memory Hardware collection. Not only did she add it to the charms, but also the jump rings so that all of the metals on the tag has the same finish.
Here is a side by side look at the metals so that you can compare the results after the powder was applied. Cari also added a little bit of the powder to the edges of her leaves to tone down the green and add a bit of interest.
The powders were also added to the velvet flower centers. Just a light dusting can give the flower a whole new look and it also helps coordinate the color tone throughout the project for a cohesive look.

I'm thinking they would not thin mediums like assign liquids do, keeping nice thick paste with lots of colour.
