February's PPP combines the sweetest colors of soft pink, rich red, pure white (and a few shades in between) with dazzling products for an inspiring, love-filled board. “I was instantly in love with February’s PPP and couldn’t wait to let it inspire me. I love creating with heart shapes, so after applying Color Bloom to resist paper. I cut a heart out using a heart-shaped die I have on hand. I then selected soft pinks and grays, adding in stamping to pull the colors together, and ending with a few bits of ephemera and flowers to finish everything off just right.” ~ Melissa Phillips

Gaby Edel, one of our amazing Prima Educators, created this mailbox filled with love letters! Using the Bella Rouge collection, she pulled out the richer colors from the palette to create a showpiece for her home. Now how fun is this? It would be adorable on an entry table, or as a centerpiece for a party!

"I started the page with some gesso and then added watercolors on top using the “Tropicals” set. On top I then added two stenciled layers using ink on the other and Color Bloom on the other. The background was finished with some stamping and pencil details."

This month's sketch just asked for something romantic! The rest of my inspiration was drawn from the photo I used - touches of pink, orange, and blue, and a total explosion of gold!
