They're Here!

Happy 2016! One of our resolutions as a company is to connect more with YOU...to listen more, to appreciate more, and to try and provide you with the tools you need to make your papercrafting easier and more enjoyable. We'd love to hear your ideas for new challenges! What would YOU like to see us doing to help your creative process? So, let's get 2016 rolling in style with beautiful colors (which just so happen to be Pantone's colors of the year) and a few new products. I was inspired by the soft pink and cocoa colors in this month's PPP. I used these sweet photo of our oldest granddaughter. I mixed some purple Mica Powder with light paste and used a stencil on the background. I also sprinkled Light Pink Art Sugar onto some droplets made with crystal accents. I also did some fussy-cutting with a sheet of the luscious new "Tales of You & Me" paper and finished with the alpha stickers from the collection kit! ~ Patti Hamil

We love how Céline chose just one color from the palette them played with it to create home décor pieces! "I made these frames to decorate my home, perfect for my new attic living room. :) Start to play on a A4 watercolor sheet, apply on the Poppies stencil with 3D Matte Gel and let it dry. Mix Acrylic Paint (Aqua Rose) with only one drop of Color Bloom Plumeria and splash on your background with a brush. Let it dry. In the mix add a drop of Oil Pastel (Cobalt Blue) to obtain "purple" and splash it on the background. Let it dry. Use the flower stencil with Chalk Edger- Teak Wall. Apply Heavy White gesso randomly. Apply Adhesive Rub-Ons (Life is Good and the Butterfly) and Copper Prima Foil. To finish up those frames stamp a flower and "Contemplation" word." ~Céline Régnier

This month's palette is one of my favorite combinations: pastel colors! Making an entire paper lamp project inspired me to start the new year full of light. Keeping my romantic style, I used lace and stones. ~ Gaby Edel, Educator

One of the many things I love about the new Salvage District Collection paper are the pretty shades of gray. I’ve layered a couple pieces of pretty, patterned sheets from the Salvage District Collection, then added texture and color using modeling paste, gesso, the Rattan stencil, along with Soft Teal and Iris Color Bloom Sprays. Once the background was complete, I embellished with a combination of wood and flower embellishments. ~Mona Pendleton

I wanted to create a fun and bright layout for this picture of our puppy running on the grass.  I used the oil pastels to create the water-colour ombre background on the 12x12 water-colour paper pad. I then used embellishments and flowers to mat the photo. The background makes it look as if our dog is running on actual grass!! ~ Keren Tamir, Educator

Prima challenges are one of the best in the whole scrap world. I always participate in them with great pleasure and they do help to become more crafty and create really beautiful things!! May be a big joint project with one of your educator or with the whole team and a big Prima album as the result of the project would be great!!!

I believe you are really onto something with the industrial and French themes.
Lace infusion into the themes might compliment the above as well as the floral and vintage lines.
Additionally you may want to look at filigree as an add on for the entire lot.
