"I was going for a cold wintry, Christmas theme, so I created a tag using a cool color palette by combining the following beautiful Oil Pastels colors: Yellow Green, Sky Blue, and Light Blue. I die-cut and layered various pretty papers from the Garden Fable collection, added lots of texture using Light Paste Opaque Matte medium, along with the Honeycomb stencil, followed with lots of color using oil pastels. I embellished the tag with a trio of die-cut snowflakes that were colored using the Yellow Green oil pastel, then coated with Pearl Glass Glitter, along with a variety of beautiful Prima flowers and a sweet resin owl." ~ Mona Pendleton

Julie Nutting's "Audrey" stamp is absolutely stunning adorning Ania Hababicka's tree! Stamp out your favorite JN stamp, color with Oil Pastels, then add to a banner to create a gorgeous, unique ornament. How perfect would these be for each member of your family?
Ania started by stamping Audrey on paper. (Use watercolor paper if blending with our waterbrush.) Cut out. Then choose oil pastels in the colors you love. Add colors as shown below. Blend with a waterbrush.
Add highlights and shadows as shown. The results: a perfectly elegant, Christmas-party-ready Audrey doll!
"Creating a background with the Oil Pastels is really fun. I kept my design relatively simple starting by drawing circles with the oil pastels. Next apply oil red pastel color onto a dot stamp. Stamp the clock face onto the background. Complete by adding stickers onto the tag, enhancing the card with a flower & applying black oil pastel at the edge of the card." ~ Jessy Christopher

"For my card I used a stencil and some light paste to create a white on white effect! (Hard to see in a photo, but so gorgeous!) Next I mixed a couple of the oil pastel colors together to create the perfect red tone, then splattered it on the card. I added a few scrap pieces of paper and some embellishments for a fun and fast card. " ~ Tiffany Solorio
