NEW BAP & PPP!

November has arrived in all its glory! While half of the world is bundling up to face crisp, cool mornings and gorgeous bursts of fall color, the other half is warming up to sunshine-filled mornings and signs of spring! Well, this month we decided to create a palette to fit the whole world. You'll find a comforting warm brown and golden yellow, along with pops of cool aqua, bright coral, and romantic pink! Mix them together to create a beautiful project with our new Creating Faith line (shipping now) or any mix of the colors. Then enter our PPP contest with a chance to win a lovely prize! "I was really excited to be able to play again with Prima's monthly challenges. The PPP this month is gorgeous and so I was glad I was able to create with such a colourful palette. I used the new IOD oil pastels to create the water-colour background. Then I added flowers from the Royal Menagerie collection, as they matched perfectly. This palette was a perfect fit for this photo of my daughter. Her face painting makes her look like a rainbow fairy." ~ Keren

November's palette reminded Song Li of the beautiful, and trendy, watercolor look...which she achieved with Prima's watercolor pencils and oil pastel crayons! Just use a waterbrush to blend the colors together to create a card anyone would love to receive!

The Engraver line created the most beautiful background for documenting the wonderful relationships between grandparents and grandchildren! DeeDee followed the sketch very closely, which provided beautiful balance and eye-pleasing "white space" to the design.

"I made this layout base don the sketch after rotating it 90 degrees! I used the Posey lace trim to create "snowflakes" and the stencil (irregular dots) will create a beautiful bokeh effect. I really like this stencil." ~ Maiko

“Have you ever tried using a sketch, designed for a layout, into a card? I love doing this and find it so inspiring. Today I’ve used Riikka’s beautiful sketch to create a card, using bit and pieces of the lovely A Victorian Christmas collection, including chipboard pieces, flowers, a ticket, crystals, and stamps. One of my most favorite ways to use Prima stamps is to create a very subtle pattern using ink one shade darker than the background, such as with the Christmas stamps used vertically in the upper right corner of my card.” ~ Melissa
