No matter what your style: elegant & romantic, shabby chic, classic, minimalist, or all out contemporary; these pieces will help you create beautiful little luxuries!
Sandra is literally filled with creative talent! We're so happy she shared two very special and made-just-for-you tags for today! Here's how she created each one! "On the first Relics & Artifacts resin medallion I used one coat of Chalkboard Paint in Golden Olive, then wiped off the excess with a paper towel. This creates a “stained” look. Use Texture Paste in Gold Crackle to highlight the design detail on the medal. This step really makes the details “POP!” Paint resin Relics first and set aside to dry. Paint a strip of Dresden trim with a coat of Chalkboard Paint in Golden Olive, set aside to dry. Tip: I love custom painting these Dresden Trims in a variety colors to coordinate with every project!" ~Sandra Evertson
"Cut a piece of Timeless Memories “Spirited” paper to fit over tag, adhere to surface with 3D Gloss Gel. Use Timeless Memories “Everlast” to create “fancy shape cutouts” Use Chalk Edgers – Moss Lawn, around the edges of your “shapes” to create a shaded boarder. Then adhere “shapes” to tag with foam dots to create layers. Tip: I like to zero in on specific details in a papers design, like the flowers on “Everlast” using the Palette Marker – Warm Gray, add a little more detail to them then cut out and adhere to tag where desired. Adhere buttons to tag. Use R&A Dresden Trim #942427, with a hole punch, cut the centers out of the trim (be sure to save the “donut” shaped leftovers for another project) and adhere to tag where desired. Place painted Dresden trim along the bottom edge of tag & adhere. Apply foam dots to center of tag and place painted Relic on top. I used a single rose cut from the Debutante Collection, “English Waltz”, I added a bit more color to make it red with Prima Watercolor Pencils and glued it to the center of the medal. Lastly add ribbon to tag and and gold sting to medal."
"On the second medal I painted one coat of Chalkboard Paint in Charcoal and wiped off excess with a paper towel, then highlighted the design detail with Texture Paste in Antique Silver Crackle. Paint a strip of Dresden trim with a coat of Chalkboard Paint in Charcoal; set aside to dry. Cut a piece of Timeless Memories “Everlast” paper to fit over tag; adhere to surface with 3D Gloss Gel."
Second Tag: "Use Debutante Collection paper, “English Waltz”, to create “fancy shape cutouts” Use Chalk Edgers – Attic Dust, around the edges of your shapes to created a shaded boarder. Then adhere “shapes” to tag with foam dots to create layers. Lastly add ribbon to tag and gold string to medal. End result: a pretty little thoughtful tag with a bonus medal attached!"

But, that's not all we have for you today! We asked our DT to create Halloween-inspired "little luxuries" that will add a touch of spookiness to their decor. Here is what they came up with!
"I love creating for Halloween and this spooky haunted house using the Bird House Altered Metal Frame. I painted the outside of the house with charcoal chalk paint and added texture with Graphite Paste." ~ Fran Westmoreland
"The inside has been painted in black gesso used an empty Prima embellishment box as shelving which I've filled with some "creepy" goodies! Just to show you that you can alter your Prima embellies to fit into any project for any occasion."
"The Relics and Artifacts skull was highlighted with a waterproof pen and suspended in an old jar which I filled with water tinted with Emerald Color Bloom spray - this is so simple, but very cool!"
"A Figurehead from the Relics and Artifacts range has been turned into a scary Beetlejuice-style head with some help of watercolor pencils and we also have a R&A (severed) green hand on the shelf. Check out the little bat made with Mechanicals and a brad... I upturned the fastening backs to create ears! You can alter ANYTHING and it's so much fun to try! Happy Halloween!"

These gals sure show off the Relics & Artifacts line in style! Closing is this FUN Halloween door hanging by Patti Hamil. She added a "dusty" effect. like it had been sitting around in an old haunted house, by spraying chrome Color Bloom spray over the finished piece! I just love the tips these gals share each and every day! How about you? Are you all ready for Halloween? If not grab your Relics & Artifacts and have some spooky fun!
Love all your work but am drooling over those tags. My brain is now running on fast speed, lol
Dreaming up all the tags I can make... Thanks for sharing...Hugs..Patti
