Ready For Our Guest Designer?

Every month we search far and wide to bring you a guest designer filled with talent and creativity! This time we traveled all the way to the gorgeous country of Spain! We cannot wait for you to meet our Guest Designer and see her beautiful projects!

"I always liked to craft but, since I discovered the magic world of -scrapbooking- I fell in love in all the shapes! I especially love the layouts (I see them as a future memory.) I also alter projects and canvases...always with one main character: my sweet girl! I really enjoy playing with inks, watercolors, stencils, and stamps...creating my own backgrounds and seeing my hands stained in the end. I could say scrapping only brings me happiness! And this month I feel especially lucky! ;) Thanks, Prima. Besos"

Estrella's first project is based on our September PPP! Isn't her background DREAMY? And she created it with just a Prima stencil, Finnabair crackle paste, and a touch of Color Bloom sprays!

"Just Thinking" - " I was inspired to create my page in the patterned paper that appears in one of the photographs of the PPP! It is so inspiring! I used a stencil and texture paste for the background, then I added Color Bloom sprays and watercolors. I have finished framing the photo with some flowers and some buttons." ~ Estrella

"For the BAP sketch I made two layouts and I couldn't choose one, so I sent over both to Sharon! The first is softer and dreamier, while the second has more contrast and drama added to it."

BAP Shabby Moments: " I am inspired by the Debutante collection. I first worked in the layering with some papers from the 4"x6" paper pad, then I have covered it with clear gesso. To add color, I used stamps and some ink blots. Finally, I added some elements of chipboard, flowers, and a feather from the same collection to give that shabby touch"- Estrella

BAP Stained Hands: " To make the background I used a white paper in which I played with inks and stamps! Then I selected some words from a paper, sparkly crystals, brads, butterflies, and some flowers from the Garden Fable collection. I wanted the ink to come off my hands and go to the paper! "-Estrella Barba

Congratulations on your Guest DT Role... And the beautiful layouts you have created! The Prima PPP was quite a difficult color scheme to work with and you have totally nailed it!!! All gorgeous !!
