July's Challenges Are Here!

It's a new month and we are here with two new EXCITING challenges! Get your Prima supplies ready 'cause you are going to want to jump right in! We have two simple rules. 1. Use as much Prima as possible (and only Prima flowers please!) 2. Enter before midnight on the last day of the month!

Our fabulous BAP sketch is by Jennifer this month and she really rocked it! It's perfect for Instagram or tiny photos, with lots of space for mixed-media touches. Or take a different spin and use more natural-looking elements on your project to fit the foliage and butterfly accents! Here are a few projects for inspiration!

"Iron Men" Layout by Riikka Kovasin

"I was inspired by the watercolor style paint touches in the sketch and used watercolor pencils in my page. The page itself is inspired by my father and grandfather who I both consider to be iron men of some sort. My grandfather was over 90 when he still was cutting down trees and loading them to tractor by hand. So the title refers to me being of the same blood, of the same house and contains a wish that I would have the same stamina and spirit when I’m older." ~Riikka

"Beauty In Chaos" Layout by Elena Morgan

Elena embraced the sketch this month and went with it! All of the layering, stamping and splatter effects, make you stop and really take notice in all the details throughout this page. The colors match the deep tones in her photograph, which makes this layout become part of the scenery.

"You and Me" Layout by Robbie Herring

"For my page, I played with the new Garden Fable Collection. Although all the colors are beautiful, this time I chose to play up my favorite color combination with greens, blues and browns. My favorite part of the sketch was the 3 frames. Because I planned to use the sequins instead of the paint spots that are pictured on the sketch, I thought it would be fun to carry that idea into the frames, too. I used clear transparency with the resin frames to make shaker boxes. I changed the placement of the paint spots with my sequins to give the feel of a few spilling out."~Robbie
