I have used stamps from Finnabair’s Tea On The Deck set. I love the little floral tea cup and plate and made a journal page.
The images were stamped and then painted with watercolors. The background of my page was misted with Distress Stains and then a Prima Vintage Vanity Clear Stamp, “Frilly Lace” was embossed onto the pages... tea cups and doilies always go together.
I also stamped with the Prima “Treasured Memories 11” Cling Stamp and collaged some pretty flowers onto the page from a piece of Prima Patterned Paper, “Time Travel”, from the Romance Novel Collection. The lady sipping tea is an image transfer of a magazine picture. ~Gayle Price

I really enjoy making Santos Dolls. They’ve been an art form for many years, and this one is a simple one using stamped, cut, and colored images to adorn the figure.
She is quite different than the others I’ve made, but she’s one of my favorites. You’ll love the Finnabair stamp collections. They are great quality stamps that create perfectly detailed images. Each is a Work of Art in and of itself.
1. Base-coat the pieces of masonite with Heavy White Gesso. When dry use a sponge square to add layers of acrylic chalk paint in various colors. Use darker shades on the edges.
2. Using Black Archival Ink, stamp your images onto the painted pieces. Stamp the phrases along the green legs and add some white dots. I also used Red Archival Ink on the legs to add the background stamp from the Rust and Dust set.
3. Stamp several Butterflies and the “Don’t Forget to Fly” Finnabair image onto stamping paper with the black ink. It’s a thicker paper and works great for high detail images. Then color in the images as you like using water-based pens. I used a water pen to blend the colors.
4. Glue the doll together with 3D Matte Gel and add cut-out images when dry. I used mono-filament/invisible thread to hang the butterflies using a piece of tape on the backs. I hung it from the middle of the doll base before gluing it into place.
5. The arms sections are put together with brads. Add some paper flowers around the base and one in her hands.
I hope you enjoyed this step-out and have been inspired to make a creation of your own. ~Linda M. Cain

Whenever I feel I need to boost my endorphins, I reach for pink in my artworks. This color works like a charm for me. :)
I created a small canvas and played with all kinds of mediums - White Crackle Paste, White Heavy Gesso, and Modeling Paste. It was a bit time consuming, but I must say, I love the final effect. I used circles from Don't Forget To Fly set when the modeling paste was not completely dry. This allowed me to achieve some additional texture.
I used some white Prima Nieve paper flowers that I covered with a layer of white gesso and added brads in their middles plus some Mechanicals embellishments to complete my composition. The butterfly wing for my vintage lady comes from the "Don't Forget To Fly" stamp set.
Can you guess the thing this little assemblage is made on? It’s a household item, but in a bit mistreated version. It used to be a steaming basket, but one of the pieces fell off, so I took the rest of them off as well and included those to my “mixed-media” drawer with all sorts of bibs and bobs. Now the bottom of the basket works as the base for this little creation.
I used two stamps in this project both from the same “Trust The Magic” set. The lady is stamped with black ink and then slightly colored with watercolor pencils, “Finnabair way”.
The gears are stamped with watermark ink and then embossed with a golden embossing powder. ~Riikka Kovasin
