Take This and Make It Yours!

 

What do we do when we see a GORGEOUS project online? We "Pin" it on Pinterest, double click the photo on Instagram, "Like" it on Facebook, or save the file on our computer. But what do we do with it after that? Sigh...we tend to forget about those beauties, don't we?

Here's a little boost to encourage you to grab one of the projects you LOVE and use it to create your own! Just use the color palette, layout design, or products showcased and go from there. It's simple, fun, and you'll love the results. Want a little inspiration?

Soft, sweet, and absolutely beautiful...Keren Tamir's layout has it all (and it portrays a precious message!) Our gals loved scraplifting this gorgeous piece. We asked them to choose similar colors, layout design, OR Prima products for their projects. Use anything at all from this piece as inspiration, but make it your own! That's the whole point of scraplifting! Want to see what they created?

 

 

 

We knew when Louise Nelson signed up for this scraplift we would see the true genius of using someone's design as a jumping off point! Both gals have gorgeous styles, but they are not very similar at all. So how did Louise make it work? She emulated the overall, gorgeous design of the page and kept the same wonderful "family" theme, while using her own choice of Prima products, colors, and techniques. We think the results are simply brilliant!

Delaina Burns took Keren's original and turned it into this dreamy layout! Using a soft palette and similar layout design, Delaina then added her personal interpretation of the "paint drips" with embroidery thread. Now how cool is that? It's fun and sweet and such a FABULOUS take of a gorgeous layout! We wouldn't expect anything less from the super-talented Delaina!

We were really excited to see Louise Nelson take a soft, sweet layout and put her signature look on it! Louise used the overall design as a jumping off point, keeping most of the design intact...and even adding flowers around the centered photo. However, her colors and products couldn't be any more different! And that's the FUN part! Take a layout, use it for inspiration, then make it your own! Louise totally rocked this scraplift and our world with her edgy design!
