Finnabair's team is so kind to join us today to show off their glittery creativity! We hope you enjoy each of their absolutely brilliant projects!
I decorated my New Year's flowers with glitter and added some metal embellishments to make the whole design even more unusual. A more traditional deer also got its glitter treatment. :) Elena Smoktunova
Remove the backing and add to your cone just above the scallop edges creating a pointed top. I added strips of double stick tape to the edges to hold it securely.
Using a flat brush, I added Soft Gloss Gel to the the stenciled areas and sprinkled onWhite Art Sugar, White Luminous Glitter, and Platinum Glass Glitter. They all actually have this gorgeous blue shine that comes out in them.
The Mechanicals elements were slightly curved to fit onto the cone. I brushed on Soft Gel and then sprinkled with Copper Luminous and White Art Sugar. The brass color of the Mechanicals nicely contrasts with these Art Ingredients. Two little wooden stars and a large Star Brad were glitzed up with Soft Gloss Gel and Silver Luminous Glitter. They were added to the Mechanicals with 3D foam squares.
The wooden pedestal is painted with Heavy White Gesso first and then, using Soft Gloss Gel, I added Sterling Glass Glitter and Pearl Glass Glitter. It was then glued to the bottom of the Styrofoam cone with 3D Gloss Gel.
The Turquoise Garland was a perfect match for the other blues in the glitters, and the large clear rhinestones add just a bit to the scalloped edge.

In both cards the backround was created with Prima paper from Finnabair's Sunrise Sunset collection. Here and there, I covered the branches with Heavy White Gesso and while the gesso was still wet, I sprinkled it with white Glitter from 'Ebony & Ivory' set. I was trying to achieve the effect of snow on the wood. I also added some Soft Matte Gel medium sprinkled with glitter.

Glitter and Christmas go together so well! My house is more or less decorated using only black and white and our tree follows the same color scheme - we've had black Christmas decorations for years now. I was inspired by this color combo and decided to do some glittery ornaments for the tree using Art Ingredients! Riikka Kovasin
I used Art Sugar, Glass Glitter, Glass Beads, and Glitter. Each of these products has their own kind of shimmer and shine to them, and also provides a totally unique surface structure. The coarser the product, the more texture it creates. So if you are looking for a fine, powdery glimmer try Art Sugar and, if you want glimmer and structure, go for the Glass Glitter!
The steps for each decoration are quite the same. First, a coat of black gesso to get the base to the right color. Otherwise if you sprinkle the glitter onto a wrong colored surface, the background color is peeking through here and there and you need a lot of glitter to cover it totally. The easy way is to add a black coat (or any color you are using) first.
The second step, after the primer has dried, is to use the Soft Gel as an adhesive and add the Art Ingredients on top. The gel is easy to spread, but still provides a strong grip for the glitter. You might need a touch more Gel to get the Beads to stay in place, and slightly less when Art Sugar is in question.
The last step is to use 3D gel to construct the ornament or adhere the thread to hang it. Then, all you have to do is wait until the Gel is dry (preferably overnight) and then decorate your tree!
The base of the bauble style ornaments is just a big white paper maché ball. Then using the steps provided 1. add the primer, 2. the adhesive and glitter, 3. and lastly the decorations. For the black one I used black glitter and decorated with a few pearls and a leaf styled Mechanicals embellishment. For the other one I used charcoal Art Sugar and Glass Glitter and decorated with icy branches made with wire and Glass Beads. The dangling one is made using the bottle caps from the Mechanicals line filled with either Glass Beads or Glitter and embellished with star brads.

All of these creations are glittericiously sparkalicious but Riikka's ornaments are to die for!!! I wish my hubby would go for a black and white Christmas theme! I absolutely love that combo. I would even be willing to throw in a little bit of silver and gold as accents but he would never agree. He says that a tree is green not any other color so forget about trying to get a colored tree. I guess I could argue that white is not a color so that solves that problem! LOL
Clapping LOUDLY for all of the designer's creations this past month! Absolutely awestruck by the talent on your team and the products are exquisite! I am so glad that Prima is in my life!

I have pinned all of these here: https://www.pinterest.com/macmomma12/prima-glitter-creations-to-die-for/
In my previous comment I forgot to say that it is ALWAYS all about the glitter!!! It is my not so secret addiction! I have an entire wall of glitter all in s&p shakers, cheese shakers, mason jars and lots of other containers! A girl can never have enough glitter in my opinion!
