Creating art is simple and fun with our NEW Finnabair Art Ingredients! Today we have a special PEEK of just a few new Finnabair products that will razzle and dazzle your creativity! Get prepared for new Micro Beads, Glass Beads, Mica Powder, and more!
Finnabair is a wonderfully talented, mixed-media artist who brings a gorgeous, unique style to the crafting world. When paired with Prima, a wonderful line of mixed-media products came to life. Today we are so excited to jump in with a few new Art Ingredients sure to get your creative juices flowing. Of course each product can be used fresh out of the jar for those new to the mixed-media world. They're perfect for experimenting and playing with on a card or tag. Or you can take them to the next level, and beyond, by combining them with our Art Basics, or Art Extravagance, lines to create custom effects (for you advanced papercrafters!) We even have Finn, herself, here with a few mojo-inspiring projects showing off her new Art Ingredients! Enjoy!
Mica Powder. It's shimmery powdery goodness in a jar! Used dry or wet it will lend a sparkly essence to any project. Try pairing with Matte Gel and apply just like paint. The gel will help the mica adhere to the project for long-lasting results. Or brush the powder on dry, then seal for a completely different effect.
Mica Powder can be applied so many different ways (as shown here on Finn's WONDERFUL layout!) Apply to canvas while dry, then seal; mix with gel and apply with brush; or spray on with a bit mixed with water...then seal for absolutely glimmery deliciousness. One little powder = so many BIG results!

Micro Beads. They're tiny, but bursting with cool results! Apply over a wet medium, like gel, paste, or gesso, for extra staying power. They'll stick to any surface: wood, metal, glass, paper, leather, etc...when paired with our Art Basics line. You are going to want a bottle of EACH color once you play with them just one time. They're that addicting!
Finnabair's canvas is delightful in every way! There are so many beautiful elements and products paired perfectly on this stunning piece. Can you catch a glimpse of her new Micro Beads?
