Day 9: It's ALL About Color Today!

And we are here with a colorful challenge today! Today's special Prima picks are our shimmery, delightful Color Bloom Sprays and/or our spinning-with-options Pin Wheel Stencils!

Actually they are perfect when combined together to create Christmas fun! Each Pin Wheel Stencil has so many interesting pattern combos! Just spin, add your art mediums, then spin again to layer a new pattern on top. Let's see how Keren and Kasia have taken our challenge with these two products as they create amazing cards just for you!

"I designed this card using the pinwheel stencil packaging for its shape (just recycle the packaging!) I covered all sides of the packaging with papers from the Special Delivery Kit. Here are the steps on how I created the large canvas flower using two Pinwheel stencils and two Color Bloom sprays:

Spray two different sizes of Prima's Bethany canvas petal leaves with color bloom sprays: Gold Foil and Antique Gold. Let them dry.
Using two different sizes of Pinwheel Flower Stencils create a leaf pattern on each of the canvas petals using Finnabair Art Extravaganza- Gold Crackle paste.
While paste is still wet, sprinkle some Finnabair Art Ingredients fine gold glitter on the petals. Let them dry.
Canvas petals will curl while drying so you don't need to shape them. If needed trim them around the stencilled area.
Glue the corner of each petal together to create two different sized flowers.
Layer both flowers on top of each other. Then add an embellishment in the centre and you're done!!

"To create my card I used some layers of paper, which got visually bounded, thanks to Prima Color Bloom Sprays. It's amazing how a few splashes of spray can turn loose, disconnected layers of Cigar Box Secrets paper into a composition that works together. I used the cool Pin Wheel stencil, which is great to work with sprays. I layered it on the card and created some patterns around the edges to add more interest to the card. When all the layers were dry I embellished my card with some of Prima's brads and flowers and I added some stamps on top." ~Kasia Tomaszewska
