Inspiration is everywhere! But then we sit down at our scrap table, or on the floor like SOME of us prefer...ahem...to find out our inspiration has suddenly escaped out the back door! What to do?!? Try picking a favorite layout that you have seen recently that really spoke to you! It could be the placement of each element you love, or the sweet photo, the gorgeous colors...or even the products which were used in such a creative way that is simply genius. What jumped out at you? Pick one or two elements from the project and use that as a jumping off point! Pretty soon your creativity will come back in full force.
"I really loved Nine's way to center everything around the photo, making it dominate. I was also inspired by the delicate use of mixed-media products. I made a somewhat more colourful interpretation using the fabulous Cigar Box Secrets collection and flowers." ~Camilla

Nadia Cannizzo's layout is fresh and fun with a completely different color palette (featuring the Firefly line.) And that's what makes scraplifting so FUN! You're not copying but, instead, just lifting the parts that YOU want! Nadia mainly focused on repeating the main composition of the layout. So you'll see similar placement of the photo, embellishments, and artsy touches. It's the same basic layout...just with different elements...elements that work with Nadia's beautiful style!
Our last inspiring piece is by Anna Hababicka! Anna's wonderful style comes through loud and clear, but with similar touches that are familiar from Nine's layout. Can you see them? The photo placement is on the right side (even though Anna's photos are boyish and FUN), the use of white space is similar (even though Anna added more products and splashes of gesso to add layers to the design), and the title placement is similar...while Anna made it work for HER style and choice of products. And the result? Gorgeousness!

Beautiful lifts, I love how each one is so unique and the little touches of mixed media added to them. Lots of inspiration. I pinned them all and off to share on social media.
