Presenting: Shabby Chic Metals!

Yesterday we introduced our NEW Shabby Chic resins...which are simply beautiful, but have you seen our handsome new metals yet? Perfect for adding wonderful texture and dimension on a page, each metal is painstakingly designed with full attention to every detail.

Today we have three amazing projects by Adrienne, Kelly, and Erin all using Ingvild's new metal designs in three different fun, creative ways. First up is a gorgeous home decor piece showing off the Door Lock and Victorian Lamp metal sets!

I love the fresh new look of Ingvild Bolme's Victorian Lamp and Door Lock Metals! They are so shabby and went perfectly with my black and white photo. I also have added lots of subtle sparkle in the background with some fabulous new Finnabair Glitters!

Kelly's stunning piece is perfect for garden lovers...or those who just love being outside! Beautiful photos and flowers set the stage, but the rustic Garden Can and Cast Iron Swirl steal the show!

"As soon as I saw the new "Garden" Shabby Chic Treasures  I knew I just had to use this beautiful quote on a canvas...I just adore that little watering can! I kept things pretty simple with a few photos of from my flower garden this year, some bits cut from the Forever Green collection and, of course, the gorgeous new Ingvild Bolme metals. To enhance these pretty little pieces I used just a brushing of Chalk Edgers. I chose to use the back side of the canvas for a shadowbox look, and went at it with {Art Basics} Modeling Paste, and a new Prima stencil, and a good coating of Color Blooms in Lime Wedge, Emerald, and Glistening Waves." ~Kelly

There's just something about vintage water pumps that add wonderful style to any project. Erin adds a vintage touch to her pump with a coat of Chalkboard Paint and a spritz of Color Bloom spray. Layered together they create this fabulous effect! Also tucked in on her gorgeous canvas is a new metal Door Lock Set!

These metals would look awesome on any project but I have the perfect picture of my twins watering our flowers, to use the vintage water pump and watering can in the metal garden set. But I do LOVE the door locks and the signs and the lamp posts too!
