Forever Green + Art Mediums = Mixed-Media Heaven!

Mixed-Media...sometimes we look at the trendy mixed-media craze and wonder what it really is, or how we can incorporate it into our projects, yet still keep it our style. Well, we want to help you do that! For each art project we post this month we are going to offer a "recipe" of products our designers used to help you see the products, and the results you can achieve by mixing certain products on a project.

 

To start off our Art Recipe kick-off we have two amazing projects using NEW art mediums and the Forever Green collection. So come check out a wonderful mixed-media canvas by Fran, and a gorgeous mixed-media layout by Kelly! 

Fran's canvas is simply delightful. Gorgeous layers are created with our Art Basics Light Modeling Paste & stencils, then more layers created with our thicker Modeling Paste, Color Bloom Sprays, and Mica Flakes. All add up to a texture-filled, sparkly canvas perfect for hanging up in your home.

Kelly mixed Modeling Paste with a stencil to create a wonderful checkerboard background, which she then colored with Color Bloom Sprays! Top add a touch of glimmer and sparkle Kelly "glued" Glass Beads and Glass Glitter to the page with our new Finnabair 3D Matte Gel!
