New Finnabair Mixed-Media Products

A new avenue for Finnabair...we are delighted to offer Art Basics, Art Ingredients, and Art Extravagance for ALL of your mixed-media needs! This whole week has been declared an Art Extravaganza! Look for posts each day showing a bit of Finnabair's new products, and gorgeous projects to go with them!

Our new Art Basics line provide art medium basics for the widest variety of art techniques!

 

1. We have gels from soft gloss gel, soft matte gel, and 3D Gloss Gel in 8 oz and in mega 16 oz, plus a 3D matte gel!

2. Did we mention our gesso line? We have heavy gesso in white (8.5 oz) (17 oz), clear, and black!

3. We also have tons of FUN pastes: ranging from light paste, modeling paste in 8 oz and 16 oz, to nine different texture pastes! (We will explore the pastes tomorrow, so make sure you stop back!)

We've had our amazing teams literally playing with the art mediums and they have fallen in love! Here are a few samples showing off our new Art Basics - Gessos and Gels! (Bonus: we even have a FUN video at the end showing how easy it is to use our Art Basics!)

 

Has Gesso ever looked more beautiful? Louise created such a stunning sample with just a few basic art ingredients...heavy white gesso, a Bloom Girl stencil, and some embossing ink and powder!

Gesso is so versatile that it is hard to limit it's usefulness! Finnabair uses Heavy Gesso as a sealer, for beautiful texture, and as a glue for adding Art Ingredients on this gorgeous canvas! In true Finnabair style this project is just FILLED with artsy touches.

Kasia's art journal spread is full of texture created with Art Basics Modeling Paste and 3D Gels. She also used 3D Gels to glue all of the heavy elements on to the page- like the metal embellishments. Emphasize beautiful details by adding a bit of Art Ingredients- Soft Matte Gel to them. It will add a wonderful sheen and seal at the same time!

Nadia used Soft Matte Gel all over her gorgeous page! Not only does it help adhere items, but it offers fabulous sealant qualities, as well as soft shimmer wherever you like!

 

Tip: When experimenting with new art techniques...seal a layer with gel medium first, then try your new technique. If you do not like it you can just wipe it off and start over. The gel medium provides a wonderful sealant!

Our last project today by Keren shows how essential, and easy, it is to use Art Basics on a pretty layout! There's no better way to prime a surface (gesso), glue items down (gel), add stencil work (gesso or paste), seal a surface (gel), or add a slight sheen to a product (gel!) Keren even created a FABULOUS video showing how to use a bit of Art Basics on your layout with the new Coffee Break line!

Tip: You don't have to be a mixed-media pro to use our new Art Basics. We have created them to be easy-to-use for ANY paper craft!

The Prima designers rocked Finn's new art media!! I definitely need some of that clear Gesso! I know if Finn put her name on these products, mainly the Gels, and they are designed to hold all her mechanicals and metal embellishments, then they must have some awesome holding power.
