We're super excited to have the talented Jamie Dougherty here today to show off her skills with our Color Bloom Sprays and her fabulous Bloom Collection!
Colorful Blooms are in the air. The new Color Bloom Sprays mixed with the new Bloom Collection are a match made in heaven.
To start this project take the wood ATCs and spray them with your chosen Color Bloom sprays. Wipe the excess mist off with a towel. The wood's grain pops out wonderfully.
Now onto the Art Book! Take the Bloom Art Book and alter the chipboard background. (You can alter just the front cover, or both the front and back). Take the chevron pattern stamp and Teak Wall Chalk Edger and ink the cover in a continuous pattern.
Once your first layer is complete select a screen and put it down on your cover. Spray the Worn Leather over the top lightly. This will still allow the chevron pattern to show through, but also add layers and depth.
Once you have your base down you can start to embellish. I took one of the pages from the interior of the album and fussy cut a few flowers from the page, then added them to the cover.
You can also add flowers, chipboard pieces, and any other trinkets you'd like to include. I used Prima's new covered wire to create a title for the cover (LOVE.) This is easy to alter and twist! A fun tip for this idea is to write down your word down on a piece of paper first, then you can trace out the word with the wire.
To finish off the cover accent the ATCs with a dark frame, by using a marker or pen. This really makes the colors of the Color Bloom Sprays pop!
Now you have a fun and colorful Art Book to jumpstart your creativity!
Want to win a few of our new sprays? Here's how:

I don't usually care for yellow but the bright yellow shown at the top of the page caught my eye today. it is very pretty. I think I could find lots of uses for it.
I love the album. These stamps are so elegant. I'm going to have to try this project. thanks for sharing the steps in embellishing.

I had the opportunity to use these sprays at Art Venture Anaheim and I'm looking forward to using them again at Art Venture Cornwall - my favorite is the white because it has an ever so light tint of pink in it!
I can't wait to get my hands on my own sprays - thanks for the chance to win! Proudly shared on Pinterest and Facebook.
