If you love our Julie Nutting line then you are going to flip over today's amazing project created by the super-talented Jennifer Snyder! Jennifer created a stunning canvas colored with Color Bloom Sprays , then added a new doll stamp, Becky, all done up country-style! Wait until you hear what her inspiration was!
Jennifer Snyder here today and I'm having a little fun by pairing my favorite blog and my passion for paper crafting with Prima goodies. Life is grand when you can mix the things you love together.
As for my favorite blog, I enjoy popping in daily to see what's happening on The Pioneer Woman blog. The daily round-up is run by Ree Drummond. This gal can really do it all, from cowgirl to cook, TV personality to down-home mom, homemaker to homeschooling guru. Not sure if she is a paper crafter, BUT if she is, I'm betting she is top notch. Any way, my project is a salute to the Pioneer Woman and all of us "wanna-be" cowgirls. Giddy-up.
My canvas features a few new products - Julie Nutting's Becky Doll Stamp - the cutest 'lil cowgirl you ever did see...and Prima Marketing's amazing Color Bloom Spray Mists.
Today I am playing with the Tangerine and the Gilded Spray Mists. Seeing them on the computer screen most certainly does not do justice to these Bloom beauties. The Gilded spray is just that - shimmery and like a dusting of gold leaf on your project.
Meet Becky. She is sassy and adorable and loves country living. She is clothed in the gorgeous "Something Blue" Collection by Prima. Fits her perfectly I'd say.
My video shows how I gussied up Becky's skirt and made it a little fuller/wider than the original stamp (she's getting ready to square dance). Her pretty delicate vest is also custom ready for a hoedown.

Are you a little timid when it comes to mists? No need to be. There are so many ways to use mists that do not mean instant intimidation and nail biting. You can paint it with a brush or you can blot it with a paper towel.
Watch my super quick video to see a few options. Prima Mists really are for everyone and the spray nozzle makes all the difference.
