First up is our November Guest Designer:
Ann-Christin Larsen
A Norwegian girl from
Oslo, I go by the name of Lula, but my real name is Ann-Christin. I love
to be a part of a team, both at work and with scrapping. In the daytime I am
a kindergarten teacher which I LOVE! In the night I try to get some
sleep. ;) I want to do everything, so the days has too little hours! I
have been scrapping since 2007 but these days i do not find the time
to be that creative than before, but i hope soon... To be a part of
Prima is a huge dream!
Me Layout
.
In my daily work I have to be structured and often I am so busy
that you forget the real you. I made a page about who I really am;
colorful, playful, and a little crazy. ~Ann-Christin

Monkey Layout
by Educator Nic Howard
Tips &
Techniques:
Looking closely at Nic’s layout you may
be able to see subtle stamping of words around her photos. Nic had used
texture paste with Prima Masks earlier in the creation of her layout, forming a
very textured background.
To enable her to be able to have those words on
top of the super textured background she used the stamps with a solvent ink such
as Stazon onto clear transparency (or clear packaging!), she then cut the images
out and used them on her page. The small floral frame around her title is
also created the same way.

Glory Canvas
by Designer Erin Blegen
I decided to apply this month's BAP sketch to a 12"x12" stretched
canvas, as a partnering piece to another Fall canvas project I
created recently. The sketch worked great for my Fall trees double
photo. I like the idea of a neutral, "deadened" scene comprised
mostly of browns and creams- with just a hint of color.
As those of
us who live in a place where Fall transitions into winter, we know
all too well that it takes the colors with it! ~Erin

Wonderful Journey
by Designer Keren Tamir
"I turned the sketch 90 degrees because I wanted to create flow
down the side of the page, using some mists. I framed a picture of my
daughter at the beach using one of the Prima resin frames. I just love
combining turquoise and teal colours as they are my favorite. I also
used one of my favorite masks again to create ocean waves in the
background." ~Keren

Right Now
by Designer Kasia Tomaszewska
When
creating the layout for this month's BAP I was focused on all the
little things I like and enjoy right now. I
quickly jotted them down on one of the journaling cards.
.
The composition of the
page was a great excuse to use lots of small embellishments and
stickers which add fun details and texture to the layout. ~Kasia

Tappy Love
by Sam Ho
.
I love this month's BAP sketch and I was inspired by the circle and
stitching elements on the sketch. So I cut out a number of circles from
the patterned paper (All About Me collection) and added them around the
photo.
.
I stuck to the sketch closely, but I swapped the layout to host a single
photo layout. I like using a sketch because I could build a page under an
hour allowing me to just squeeze a layout during my baby's nap time. ~Sam

I am always amazed at how a little inspiration is interpreted by another person and the resulting product is so amazing! I love all of the projects, although my favorite is Keren's layout. I love the teal against the white background; it is so peaceful. Thank you all for sharing your beautiful creations.
