Winter time is the perfect time to pull out embellishments that add a woodsey flair to your projects. Prima's new bark shapes add a wonderful texture and color to any project. One side is a true bark, while the other is ready to be used all natural or colored with our chalk edgers! Our wood icons are also a hot seller with shapes to match each collection! We even have some just for the holidays!
Want to play along with our card challenge? Here's how:
1. Just make a Prima-based card or tag inspired by one of our 12 Days of Christmas Cards. Pick anything you want that inspires you: the product, a technique, layout of card, or a color scheme.
2. Add your project to that day's post (use the blue button at the bottom.)
3. After the features are over we will pick 12 lucky winners to get a Prima prize in December!

Tree Card
By Jennifer Snyder
When burlap and natural wood come together in a project, it makes me think of rustic, outdoors themes. This is Christmas in the country. ~Jennifer
Don't you just love the homemade trees made from canvas? The canvas and bark embellishments add so much texture to this rustic card.

Joy Card
By Louise Nelson
Louise started out with the intention of creating a pretty straight forward burlap covered christmas card. But she got carried away with distressing the burlap and finished with a quite unconventional looking card. Louise created a star pattern on the burlap by using the wonderful Finnabair star stencil and gesso, and then misted it with gold mist; before cutting it up to create the card embellishments.

Merry Xmas Card
By Kasia Krzyminska
I made this simple card by layering pieces of papers and burlap. I also used the Elementals stencil with my modeling paste to create a snowy look. Also, notice the small real twig that I sewed to the card and two cute bark stars to complete the rustic appeal of this card. ~Kasia
