Altered Pitcher
by Kelly Foster
Being well into the fall season where I live, I am
endlessly inspired by all of the gorgeous fall decor ideas there are on
Pinterest. I saw this simply beautiful vintage pitcher and knew I had
to make one.
.
.
I have had this tin pitcher for some time, waiting to be
altered. It was quite unattractive - a maroon color with multi-colored
daisies poking out.
.
.
A few coats of gesso, and it was ready to be adorned
with the new "Florellas" leaves, along with Prima flowers, Say It In
Crystals Pearl flourishes, and done!

Listening Heart Layout
by Adrienne Ford
I came across this image on Pinterest and immediately fell in love. It's
not the most pretty of pictures, but something inside me was so curious
about it...how the "water" was falling. It was an interesting image that
caught my eye, and kept it.
When using this inspirational photo for my layout, I was
drawn to the colors in the water itself first and foremost. What Prima
product would really compliment this? I held up some colors of medium
and the Prima Bark Icons and so the story began. I followed the movement
of water, and added my mists and watercolors as a paint, carefully and
methodically moving them around to look like the water moving in the
photo. I added lots of texture with Spanish Moss to give it "movement"
and help it come alive!
.
My Pin Spin took a very different turn from what I
was envisioning. I love that though. The creative freedom to gain
inspiration from something like an image and let those intense, creative
inklings guide your hands. The darker colors also brought about deep
and intense feelings in myself...something so personal, only a photo of
myself would do for this layout.
