In some areas of the world the weather is cooling off...and autumn is just starting. With the season change we bring you a softer palette perfect for autumn photos, Halloween projects, or just sweet layouts centered around your favorite picture. The products featured are some of our newest metals from Finn's line and new flowers with special touches-they mix together perfectly.
How to play along with us:
To join in all you have to do is create a Prima-based project (can be ANYTHING!) and submit it right here on this post! There is now a link provided for you to click on, add your photo, and submit. We love how the new entry system allows us to see ALL of the entries! (And it drives more people to your blog! If you do not have a blog you can host your photo on Flickr or Photobucket...or upload straight from your computer.)

First up is a project by our guest designer this month from Australia!
Please welcome Joanne Bain!
My name is Joanne, but my friends call me Jo. I am a very proud mother of 2 (the best kids in the world- I am slightly biased) and I am happily married to my best friend, and have been for 19 years. He is the best husband a girl could ask for and is very supportive of my need to scrapbook. We live in sunny Queensland, Australia, along with our 2 dogs and more pet birds then I can count. I have been a scrapbooker for 12 years and I would say I am slightly addicted to this craft.
My preferred scrapping preference is 12 x 12 layouts and creating off the page, but I do enjoy altering items and making cards. I am not locked into a specific scrapping style, as I am happy to give anything a go. I would describe my style as structured, full of detail and dimension, with lots of layers and fussy cut paper-cutting, if the papers have a pattern that allows me to do so.

"I was inspired by the vintage autumn colours of this palette. They allowed me to make full use of the Engraver collection, which I love and was simply perfect for creating a page of my wonderful hubby." ~Joanne
Thank you, Joanne, for such a handsome layout! The design is classy and balanced and simply stunning. We especially love seeing a page of your guys to show everyone that Prima works for feminine and masculine projects! Come see more of Joanne's work here on her blog, and catch her BAP for September next week!

Our Journey Layout
by Brit Sviggum
Adrienne works with the richer tones from the palette to create this amazing piece! We love how she always adds her artsy touches to alter our products, yet the page doesn't look messy or overwhelming!
See how Adrienne altered the background with stencils and the wood pieces with stains? Her projects are always so fun to look at to see how she customizes everything.
