September's BAP

Brit created our lovely sketch for us this month. How fun is it with the artsy styling and gorgeous use of white space? Just think of the possibilities-You can use a stencil or stamp for some of the background effects, or just add patterned paper and flowers! Each month's sketch is here to work for you so just use it the way you want to!

Always Charming

Gerry created a gorgeous page for us! using crystals to form her background pattern. Now how amazing is that?

Gerry even has a few tips for us:

**All the masking on this layout was done with the Chalk Edgers. For example, this is how I used the Hexigon Grunge Mask: First I masked by using the Rusty Bucket ink pad. I waited for a bit to be sure the ink is dry. Then I placed the mask once again on top of the already masked spots, but this time I applied the white ink.

** The chipboard bow edges were first distressed with the Distressing Tool and then slightly inked with Rusty Bucket ink pad.

This Moment

Limor actually used an art pencil to create her hexagons! How fun are those? They fit the soft and sweet look of the gorgeous page very well. (Just seal the pencil with a fixative spray like SpectraFix or Krylon and the pencil will not smear or rub off.)

Far Away

Felicity brings us our last sample today. For the background design she used a stencil with colored gesso to create the dots and butterflies. What a perfect fit for her fun photo!

"This sketch is really easy to interpret any way you need it. I moved my photo up a little so that I could use lots of the new flowers and gorgeous resin. Those resin butterflies would have to be my favourite, but whats better is that the butterfly mask works great with the resin." ~Felicity
