It's Step-By-Step Time with Adrienne

Today we have a gorgeous layout created by Adrienne Ford just for you!

Steps

1. Take your Orbs 12x12 inch stencil with Gesso and begin to spread it out onto your patterned paper. You can be as precise or messy as you want! 

 

2. Once your Gesso is down, lift your stencil and begin to add glitter shadows to the bottom and side of the bubbles. I chose silver glitter, but any color will do. You can do this step when the stencil work is still wet, or you can add glue later to make the glitter stick.

3. Once your glitter is dry, you can go in and and some detail work with watercolors.

 

4. Photo 4 shows a close up after the shadowing and detail work of the bubbles is complete.

5. Next you will want to prep your embellishments to be placed on your layout. I have added a spray adhesive to my flowers and lightly sprinkled them with glitter. This gives a nice cohesive look to your layout and LOTS of SPARKLE!

I have also primed my wood peices with Gesso, and will leave them that way for this layout. (You, of course, could add any type of medium beyond that)

6. Begin to embellish your layout. I have added a couple of clusters to my page and finished it off with bling to really make the sparkles pop off the page!

7. Finally I have gone back in and added some detail work to the bubbles with a crafter's pen.
