Prima & Sizzix-Day 3!

We have been hopping back and forth this week with Sizzix UK!

 

This week marks an important milestone for both of us as we release our new dies together. The 13 new dies are simply gorgeous. They range from decorative borders to tags, and from flowers to butterflies. So be sure and check out part 1 and part 2 for give-aways AND fabulous samples created by our DTs using the new dies and lots of Prima products.

 

 

Today we have Anna Draicchio joining us! She will be using the Leeza Gibbon's lines to create two amazing projects!

Hi again, Prima and Sizzix fans!

This is Anna. I'm back again with some inspirations using the new Sizzix dies: Flora Grande by Prima Marketing Inc.! This line is amazing!

 

Today I want to show you a lovely project: a home décor work and a coordinated card.

For my card I used the butterflies dies “Mariposa” and the tag “Elisse”. The Sizzix Big Shot steel-rule dies (Bigz) were designed to work on several different types of materials, so I could cut out the shapes from felt and  cardboard. I also used items from the Wishes & Dreams line from Prima Marketing.

 

The butterfly was embellished with a tiny yellow flower and the tag is inserted perfectly into the cute pocket. 

 

My new favourite colour combo is definitely teal and yellow, after seeing the Leeza Gibbon's  Prima collection: it’s cheery and bright!

To make my home décor I used my dies and Prima scrapbooking supplies to decorate a simple square photo frame.

I layered the different die cut elements in different colours and textures: the buttons “Sew cute” and the tag “Estate” are startlingly versatile! Just add any of the embellishments for a perfect finishing touch.
