Even though the sketch this month was a little more geometric in nature, Nic still managed to combine our Engraver & Lyric collections to create a shabby inspired layout. With curled edges and layers of cut-out elements, this layout portrays the circles and squares in a more subtle way. Engraver papers form the perfect background with touches of the Lyric collection’s apricots and rose colours to add that contrasting pop.

And this month's Prima Product pick is just as luscious:

June's PPP is a summery palette of creamy pastels, with touches of bolder colors and soft neutrals lending itself for photos from weddings, parties, summery get-togethers, poolside shots and more. Our art department chose gorgeous products that carry this lovely palette through-out, including our new wood clips, washi and fabric tapes, and banner clips!

So how do you take our palette and use it for inspiration? Well, let's look at two amazing samples from our design team!

Happier Than Ever

by designer Gerry van Gent

Gerry started with white cardstock which she treated with two different masks and a variety of stamps. She only used white chalk edgers for the masking and stamping to create a rich tone-on-tone effect. The white Chalk Edger can also be used to soften alphabet stickers if they seem a bit too bold.

A stroke of creative genius, Gerry used a Queen Mary Buttermint flower to create a clock on her page. The clock numbers were created with puffy paint, while our very own Junkyard Findings hands were added to make the clock complete.

You Are Beautiful

Marie-Nicolas took a bolder approach with her palette choices leaning on the pinks and greens a bit more. She started with a trendy grey striped paper from our Hello Pastel collection then added Divine papers, chipboard pieces, and flowers. An array of parfait-colored stickers and watercolor play add a wonderful summery mix of color to the delightful page.

What amazing LOs. All the designers have really beautiful pages. I do tend to be partial to the LO with the Lyric collection with those amazing clocks. This collection has absolutely stolen my heart. I love it!!
