When: Prima is hosting a marathon of Live with Prima classes on Saturday, May 4th!

What: There will be brand-new projects packed with easy and creative ideas using some of your favorite Prima products. All 8 classes will be taught by our talented team of instructors, and a majority of the classes will be hosted live from the Prima classroom.

Plus, we are partnering with some of your favorite scrapbook stores to offer exclusive class kits and products used in the classes throughout the day!

Well, Sharon is going to combine our brand new LadyBird Collection with two handsome, masculine projects featuring her boys!  This line is perfect for layouts about the guys in your life too. Sharon will be playing with stencils, gesso, stamping, new metals, chipboard, layering and all kinds of fun & easy techniques to use on ANY project.

 

2.   "Customize and Create" Journal with Cari Fennell

8:00am PT/ 11:00am ET/ 3:00pm GMT

 

This Prima journal is a wonderful book to alter and customize to your heart's content! Cari will go over some simple steps to show how you can achieve a unique look by blending paints, layering papers, stenciling and mix a variety of elements to customize the cover. She will also be using some of Prima's newest products such as Mechanical embellishments, resist canvas and Sunrise Sunset papers. This book can be used to hold photos, to journal in, record special occasions, etc...

 

3.  Garden Bloom Album with Jamie Dougherty

Spring is here and gardens are in full bloom! This book would be the perfect place to record and sketch your precious plantings or commemorate special events taking place this time of year! Join Jamie as she creates this beautiful Prima album, full of mixed media techniques and clever ideas that can be easily recreated to make a book of your own.

Bring a bit of the outdoors, in! See how Drew creates this "mini garden" project using a range of Prima products, including a shadow box frame, resins and papers from the Leeza Gibbons Wishes and Dreams collection. OH ok so my fave tip was the use of three items to draw the focus to the focal point or the picture if thats what you want people to look towards....you have the power to direct your audience around the page like a choreographer does a symphony. Its amazing.

Prima sure is making the Day Fun!!! I can't begin to say how much I enjoyed this Hop and all the inspiration it instilled! I have 3 favorite techniques: using a mask to make a pattern on patterned paper; making stunning tags; and lastly, (and my favorite) using both soft (Prima flowers) and hard (metal) elements together. I can't wait to start trying some of these in my own projects.

Just watched Jamie make her floral album, WOW! She is the queen of fussy cutting with a craft knife...something that I can't seem to do at all. Love how she used a die cut label from her paper pad , folded and inked it and turned it into a tag!
