Fast & Simple Headbands
by Heidi Kelley
13 gorgeous, girlie headbands, in one hour, AND two headband displays to go with them. :) These may not have taken long, but you'd never know it... My daughters are going to be beside themselves when they unwrap these on Christmas morning. The simplest gift that I have made this year, but probably the prettiest!
Okay, okay, there are an odd number... maybe one is for me. :)
The headbands are simply plain headbands, with lots of Prima beauty hot-glued to them in random color combinations and textures. The headband
displays were made by covering two rolls of paper towels with soft
fabric, and then hot gluing Prima trim around both ends. (You can even
stack them on top of one another, like in the picture.) Another totally fast, totally simple gift idea! ~Heidi

Altered Canvas
by Felicity Wilson
- "I went to the bargain store where I bought three inexpensive canvases. I then went into the hardware store and bought some pink spray paint.
- The Poppies and Peonies 12 x 12 masks were perfect for decorating with. (Wash them off quickly.)
- To add a little bit of depth I used some wax crayons on the design.
- It took me no longer than 2 hours to create all 3 canvases!
- It's the perfect gift for my family!!" ~ Felicity

Wrapped Welcome Canvas
by Marie-Nicolas Alliot
Marie-Nicolas has an amazing project (that she made just for her niece), complete with step-by-step shots! She really goes all out for us, doesn't she?
First, paint your canvas with watercolor. Alternate different colors: pink, orange, yellow ...
Let dry and after add some patterns with a different mask and Adirondack Ranger inks : Yellow sunshine, Orange sunset.
For more appeal add some splashes with Distress stain and colorwash Ranger Inks.
Add some Prima stamps with Prima Chalk Fluid Inks : Old Rose, Rusty Keys, Costfoots.
For the finishing touch glue a big label on, add a title and few flowers, and your fast gift is done! :-)
To pack your gift, use a Kraft bag and color it with the same technique
that you used on your canvas! Add a lovely tag and make the receiver very happy! :-) ~ Marie-Nicolas
