We have a fabulous challenge for all of you card-makers out there!
For 12 days this month Prima is going to bring you gorgeous NEW Christmas, Holiday, or winter-themed cards. And we want YOU to play along!
Here's all you have to do:
- Pick a card that inspired you and make your own card/tag based on it.
- Post your Prima-inspired card on our Facebook Fan Page (Prima Marketing Flowers), or on your own blog, on Pinterest, or on any other site.
- Please mark your card/tag "Prima's 12 Days of Christmas-Day 1", or Day 2, Day 3, etc. so we know which project inspired you!
- Make sure you come back to this post and include your link so we can find the cards!
- We will pick 12 wonderful winners on November 30th (one from each card day) to receive some FUN Prima goodies!

Ready to play?
Our first card is by the super talented Magda Bolinska!
12 Days of Christmas- Day 1:
Madga even prepared step-by-step directions for us!
1. Cut the square approx 12x12 cm [4.7 x 4.7 in] from Fairy Belle `Summer Dream` paper
2. Cut the square 10x10 cm [4 x 4in] from Songbird `Title-it` paper
3. Distress all edges
4. Between prepared squares add the gauze - glue together
5. Cut 2 strips of paper approx 2x12 cm - one from Yuki `Peter
cottontail` paper, second from Songbird `Tag-it` paper - stick on the
card
6. Add a little bit of gesso and black splatters
7. Cut 3 in snowflake from white cardboard; in the middle of snowflake add the wood button with twine
8. Add some text
9. For the end: add some crystals in the corner of card and some staples

This is a really pretty design. It shows that just about any collection can be turned into something Christmas-ey with a little imagination!

This is a cute card and fun with the paint. But I have to be honest and tell you that I am not a fan of the sentiment x-mas. I believe it crosses (or x's) out Christ. I have always strongly believed it was important to say, write and use the whole sentiment of Merry Christmas. I know people say, well, it is just faster. But after all Jesus has done for us, I believe we can take the time to use the whole sentiment and include Christ. Merry Christmas to all of you.
