Getting Into The Christmas Spirit With Marie-Nicolas

The Holidays have approached us and tis the season for decorating. Today Marie-Nicolas has brought us two beautiful project ideas.

Her first project is an Advent Calendar, where she will show you steps so you can recreate this fun canvas.

To do this you will need a larger sized canvas.

In one corner spray Ranger color wash over a Prima corner mask then use the mask as a stamp in the opposite corner. Then add bursts of color across the canvas with the washes. To add shimmer Go over the canvas with Perfect Pearls by Ranger Inks.

Around the edges of the canvas, use Ranger's Distress Stain in Broken China.

To make the flags: fold a piece of paper in half and notch out a point or make a border with a punch.

Write in a little paper what your children can make this day to wait for Christmas. And glue your flag on the string

You can make rosettes and cones to complete your calendar. Attach the string behind the frame.
