A Bright Idea and a Bit of Grunge on LWP this week...

There are two really great shows coming up this week on Live with Prima! Lolly is altering an ordinary lamp and making it extraordinary, using the Alla Prima Collection! And then we also have our International show coming up tomorrow.Our International guest this month is Anna Dabrowska from Poland. Anna is creating one of her signature layouts, using Prima stamps, masks, flowers and more. She has some amazing tips and techniques to share using a variety of art mediums to create a one of kind background for your layouts.

Pretty Paper Quilted Lamp Shade with Lolly Chessie

If you happen to have any less than lovely lamps laying around (or you spot one with a pretty shape on clearance or at a garage sale), Lolly will show you how to transform them into lovely little cottage style works of art. Using an assortment of papers from the new Alla-Prima collection, you'll learn how to make a faux quilt lap shade cover using a simple stitch on your sewing machine.

Grunge is usually considered as boyish or heavy style, but I'd like to convince you that it also as the more delicate, girly, eclectic side...During this show we'll go wild with masking and stamping to get a detailed, grungy background in feminine colors. Next we'll mix pretty, soft embellishmens with metal and rust and add a bit of creative madness to the sweet, girly scrapbook page... in the end, we are all full of surprises:)
