Hello everyone, Emeline has put together some inspiring projects to share with you today.
...............................................................................
Hi all! In today's post, I'd like to share complimentary elements that magnifies the beauty of Prima products. Fabric and metals are my evergreen items I love to create with. Not only are these within reach, easily found in your nearby dollar stores or craft stores, most of these items could already be hidden in your drawer at home.
In my first project, I used fabric, specifically muslin cloth, satin, organza and weaved them into my handmade (from scratch) album. The end result is one with absolute dimensions, ultimate texture.
Pile on my favourite Prima resins, chipboards and flowers in cool pastel shades.
This mini album happens to be one of the projects I taught recently in Surabaya, Indonesia.
Supplies:
- Pixie Glen Collection 8” x 8” Paper pad (843694)
- Pixie Glen Chipboard (551216)
- Miss Kate Petal Pink Flowers (552350)
- Bird House Resin(890834)
- Amore Frost Heart (551926)
- Fantasy Snow Butterflies (552138)
My second piece is a collage of metal tart tins, metallic colored tart holder together with Prima North Country Collection. These metallic bake related tins and holders are relatively easy to come by. I used Ranger's alcohol inks to color and transform an ordinary tart tin.
A mixture of blue, pink, green and white alcohol inks was sufficient to coat the surface of my tins. Alcohol inks are great for non-porous surface like metal. Steps: Gently apply alcohol ink onto tin.Swirl and turn to obtain maximum coverage on the tim.Let dry or hasten drying with heat gun. (reminder: exercise caution as metal heats up)
Supplies:
- Prima North Country Collection Snow fall (843298)
- Prima North Country Collection Chipboard (551254)
- Prima Crystal Palace Black Snow (551834)
- Prima Carlotta Blue Pearl (552770)
- Prima Splendour Moss leaves (553593)
Finally, a thank you card using warm colors.
On this card, I used a kraft envelope as a backdrop for my flower cluster. Not only does it bring out color contrast on the flowers. It adds visual interest in my opinion.
Supplies:
- Prima Londonerry Collection "Manor House" (843144)
- Prima Angelica Rose Col Bonnie (546328)
- Prima Parchment Petals Antique (551988)
- Prima Jardinere Alla (552596)
- Prima Resin Window Shutters (890698)
- Prima Say It in Crystals (551421)
