My favorite (and best tutorial) of an altered Prima product was Janine Koczwara's Prima Vines altered by Tattered Angels Chalkboard Glimmermist (cornflower). The ability to alter the flowers to match your layouts is amazing. Thank you for this blog hop!
Posted by: Kim H | Thursday, September 01, 2011 at 03:02 PM
I absolutely love the altered hat and all the mini's by Marion. Mai is so creative with the colors she chooses for her layouts even though she only has boys she included pinks and springy colors to complement her photos.

That ADORABLE face on Janine Koczwara's "Unimpressed" layout - ohmygoodness but that baby's expression just had me smiling out loud! And what a great type to alter some already fabulous looking flower! All of these ladies are so dang talented and I enjoyed each and every project they shared with us!

Posted by: Tanya Phillips | Thursday, September 01, 2011 at 04:16 PM
It is so hard to choose and it was fun to see all the different sites. I LOVE altering the canvas. Something about the texture, there is no wrong. A cool thing I saw that I had never thought of (duh) was the woman who stamped with a script stamp on her wood cut outs. I wasn't a fan until I saw that - now I definitely have to get some wood pieces!
Posted by: Kelli Thomas | Thursday, September 01, 2011 at 04:47 PM
It was really hard to choose just one...but, I'll have to say my first choice is the tip on coloring the flowers, on the vine, from Janine Koczwara. Wonderful blog hop & great giveaway! TFS, Bonnie S :-)

OK, hard to pick one with such incredible talent in this hop but if I HAD to pick one I would say Janine Koczwara's tips were the most helpful for me and I ADORE all of her work. This was fun, thanks!
Posted by: Vicky Alberto | Thursday, September 01, 2011 at 05:14 PM
What a terrific idea Janine Koczwara had to customise her Prima Vine.
She made it look so easy by placing the flowers under photocopy paper and ripping the paper so only the flowers poked through. Then altered the flowers by spraying them with glimmer mist. Saves a lot of mess and a technique I will be using for sure. Thanks for all the terrific ideas.
Posted by: HeatherBick | Thursday, September 01, 2011 at 05:19 PM
My favortie product spotted on several of the blogs is the new resist canvas, CAN'T WAIT to try it!!
Posted by: Charity Donaldson | Thursday, September 01, 2011 at 05:20 PM
Thanks for all the beautiful inspiration. Hard to pick a favorite product, but the altered vines (flowers only sprayed with GlimmerMist)are what's going in my shopping basket next.

I love Ania's layout that she created first and didn't care for. I love the colors of blue and brown together along with all the alterable canvas. It isn't too cluttered and came out beautiful.
Posted by: Carol Douglass | Thursday, September 01, 2011 at 08:41 PM
uhmmm, sorry, i've been hoping and there is just no way...when I see one and think that is it - i check the next one and I like it too, canvas so far though and all the altered flowers, but I would have to use the mist to alter, and use the paintables, and just can't stop there.
Posted by: jackie, from Texas | Thursday, September 01, 2011 at 09:00 PM
I love all the creations and it is hard to one favorite but I like Trudi Harrison's canvas layout using texture paste to create dimension.

Posted by: Regina aka Mrs. Ham | Thursday, September 01, 2011 at 11:57 PM
On Janine’s page I love the way she used the lace and the cornflower blue color of her flowers.
On Jamie’s page I love the bow she made and how she made it polka dot by using a sharpie as a resist.
On Stacy’s canvas I love the stars she created and the colors she used.
For all three I GREATLY appreciate their sharing HOW their beautiful work was created.
I’m now a follower of these three and a few other members of your team.
As for which product . . . well that's hard to say. I guess I'll just have to try them out to decide. :D

Well it certainly took some time to follow every link - i sometimes paused for long watching all the beauty with my breath held. So many favourites spotted!! Unfair we must choose only one. First I thought it'll be a cute embellishment called "Resin #890773 Small Birds" - love them all, so sweet and tender - but then decided I'll go for Summer Carnation Vines. They are unbeliavably awesome, and always look stunning on a project
Posted by: Ekaterine | Friday, September 02, 2011 at 07:21 AM
I have to say...I love all that I have seen so far. So versatile and so much that can be done!!!! My favorite? Always paper...anything paper and I love, truly love Prima's paper....and when some "misting" is done? oh man...to the tenth degree! But I love, truly love the effect of the mists...on the canvas items. I really makes a huge difference and way more opportunities. Thanks, for asking.
Posted by: Rosemary Sharon Woodruff | Friday, September 02, 2011 at 07:22 AM
For a favorite designer item? The wreaths by Cari. Not just beautiful but so unique. She took the products...and took them to the tenth degree.

Posted by: Kim Faucher | Friday, September 02, 2011 at 09:07 AM
What a fun hop! My fav techniques on the journey were using the scrap paper to mask the vine so you could spritz - how simple but effective and who would have thunk. I also loved the use of paste with the screen for texture - how awesome was that! Thanks for putting together this hop. I discovered some new blogs that I want to follow now.
