You may have heard about the Color Connection and wondered what exactly it is. Well, we are here to explain a bit more about this amazing connection and give away a little surprise to one lucky winner!
Color Connection was an idea that Wendy, from Tattered Angels, and Sharon, from Prima, had while traveling and teaching together in Holland last fall. The connection includes Prima, Tattered Angels, Pink Paislee and House of Three. Our products work so well together that we decided to "connect" a few of our favorites for you!
At CHA Winter Prima introduced a new (MIST)·a·bles canvas line that is ready to be colored with Tattered Angels' Glimmer Mist. TA even created a Prima Favorites four pack consisting of one ounce bottles of Cranberry Zing, Patina, Bronze and Suede! (These four colors work so well with ALL of our paper lines.)
Cari Fennell used all four GM colors to make her MISTable simply AMAZING! Cari also added extra canvas flowers cut from another MISTable sheet to give her design loads of texture.
Here is a STUNNING sample by Jamie Dougherty using a new Prima MISTable and Prima's Favorites Glimmer Mist. Just look at how gorgeous that blending technique is.
Sharon Laakkonen sprayed the canvas MISTable sheet with suede Glimmer Mist, then cut the flowers out to adorn her Prima canvas camera bag colored with Patina!
Julie Balzer also created a GORGEOUS layout using our MISTables and TA's Glimmer Mist Favorites pack for Prima! Once the canvas sheet is colored the designs act like a resist to give you a very unique effect.
To celebrate this lovely union we are going to give away:
- a Prima Canvas (MIST)·a·ble and
- a four pack of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Prima's Favorite colors!
For your chance to win just leave a comment here letting us know what your favorite Prima product is to color! We will pick a winner on FRIDAY, February 25th! Open to all countries. Void where prohibited.
My favorite is the creamy white primas; i ink them, spray them, stickle them, there is so much you can do to have them match whatever you are working on! Lucy

The white flowers so I they can match any layout or project.
Posted by: Roxane F. | Monday, February 21, 2011 at 12:06 PM
I love to color Prima flowers using mists. Though the gorgeous Prima flowers come in the most wonderful colours, I sometimes don't have that one perfect colour to go with a certain collection...then I just grab my glimmer mist and spray it in another colour. Prima & glimmer mist = match made in heaven!
Posted by: Romy | Monday, February 21, 2011 at 12:07 PM
I love colouring up white & neutral flowers! Even if they have a print on them, like old script, it's perfect to be able to adapt them to coordinate with my projects! Or even just adding a hint of colour like stripes/ tinging the edges - so fun!
Thanks for the chance to win

Aren't we extremely lucky having such a fantastic Group of Companies coming together to provide us with goodies!
Posted by: Robbi | Monday, February 21, 2011 at 01:06 PM
What a great idea! Four fabulous companies working together to give us more wonderful products to play with! I really love how the colors blend on the (MIST)·a·bles, really beautiful. My favorite Prima product to color, well I have several, but I will stick with Prima's canvas pieces and Prima's flowers. Not just the white flowers either, sometimes I will mist a colored flower to get a deeper depth of color.

Why do you always ask for a favorite? I like to color the e-line flowers to match what I'm working on. I have two canvas albums to work on and I think I'll like coloring them. I need (okay, want) the (MIST)-a-bles canvas. As I've colored way more flowers than canvas and don't have any (MIST)-a-bles yet, I have to go with the flowers.
Posted by: Kelley | Monday, February 21, 2011 at 03:08 PM
Seems like my preferences change all the time! Right now I'm loving all the canvas items that are out there to paint/mist, etc. Love watching Julie Fei-Fan Balzers tutorials on canvas items. Awesome!
