I hoard my prima lace ...but my favorite way too incorporate it is by adding to the prima flowers for a 'wow' embellishment !! Thanks for chance !! Soooo excited ... I dream of spools of prima lace;)
Posted by: Steff Miller | Friday, August 06, 2010 at 10:38 AM
I too hoard my lace, since where I live it is so hard to find! I tend to use it in tiny pieces to preserve it so it is usually just an "underline" where I want to really accentuate a photo or journalling block. I love love love it peeking out from under one of the chunkier, more dimensional Prima flowers..My kingdom for more Prima Lace!!

I love, love, love lace!! I also am a hoarder. :) The closest scrapbook store to me is 2 1/2 hrs away, so I use my stash sparingly. I use it ONLY on very special projects or cards!

Lace is wonderful for "dressing up" little character piecings and for adding a vintage touch to layouts and cards. It is also fun to spray with colors to match a project and while misting, the lace becomes a mask to add pattern to the paper undereath!

I use it on all my altered projects too(picture frames, ornaments & tins). LOVE it for adding trim on my daughters dresses & shirts!! My latest absolute favorite is for trimming canvas bsgs.
