Anam created a FABULOUS sketch for us this month! There is room for four photos, along with a HUGE title, and some FUN swirls! All of these are placed on a fantastic backdrop of three circles for lots of excitement! This sketch would work wonderfully for a HUGE assortment of themes...Easter egg hunt photos, sets of sequential photos, shots of various flowers blooming in your yard, etc. It also works well for a masculine page since there is only one main flower.
To participate simply upload your take on this month's sketch to the Prima Gallery by April 25th (put "April BAP" in the title please). If your layout is chosen as the winner you will receive a Prima paper pack! Open to all countries!
Now let's see what our design team has done with this fabulous sketch!
.....................................................................................................................................
Julie Fei-Fan Balzer followed the sketch pretty closely, but added her own signature artistic touches to the wonderful design! Julie adds lots of custom stitching and painting on the Flirty papers to make this BAP her very own! A Bonnet Bloom balances out all of the circles while providing an anchor for the array of photos!
...........................................................................................................................................
Oddbjorg Ringsby adds a feminine touch to her take...using lots of Flirty papers and a lovely felt Devine wrapped around the main circle! The tiny little dragonfly crystal adds the perfect finishing touch to this delightful page.
............................................................................................................................................
Ingvild Bolme uses three FUN photos of her sweet daughter splashing in the pool as the main focus. After adding lots of beautiful flowers, Ingvild cut up a Glittered Transparency to use for "water splashes" on her layout! How ingenious is that?
.............................................................................................................................................
Julie Ann Shahin used our Sketch to create a wonderful hybrid page! The photo uses a Loft 18 digital photo mask/flower silhouette printed right on a digital Tea & Silk paper! After printing the page out Julie Ann added her lovely touches of flowers, crystals, letters and ribbon!
..............................................................................................................................................
Joei Lau used the sketch as a jumping off point for her art canvas creation! Using a felt mattie for a base...Joey then added her 4 photos, a few hand-painted flowers and a sprinkling of natural fibers for a ton of texture. Joey also colored a Paintable and slipped that in for an amazingly soft touch.
...................................................................................................................................................
Iris Babao-Uy celebrates her daughter's fourth year with this whimsical design. Instead of four photos, Iris used a background of four brightly-colored pieces of paper! Adding lots of color and dimension with felt flowers and crystals, Iris also added cuts of paper as a border, for her circles and for a vine running through the middle! Beautiful!
.....................................................................................................................................................
Christiane Muller took a different interpretation of the sketch and created a GORGEOUS large circle as a base for her two photos. Christiane added lots of Daisy Dreams flowers, cut paper (Tea & Silk) and Prima's velvet leaves for stunning layout!
......................................................................................................................................
Malin Dahlstrom followed the sketch pretty closely, but inserted one large photo (instead of using 4 smaller ones). Using kraft-colored cardstock is a great way to let bold patterns really stand out! Malin also added a Say It In Pearl swirl, lots of gorgeous Prima flowers and a large leaf tucked in under the Juliette flower for a gorgeous layout.
.............................................................................................................................................................
Anam Stubbington also used her own sketch to create this lovely layout about her precious girls! Lots of Prima papers are combined to create a watercolor effect that is highlighted by the family photos and large flower. A pink Say It In Pearl adds a perfect touch to the whole beautiful design!
..........................................................................................................................................
Although we already have posted this layout we just had to show how Janine Koczwara took this sketch and made a winning layout with it! Janine adapted the BAP for a boy page and used lots of fun Dude paper, rub-ons and a huge piece of Voila that makes the page just come together! Crazy FUN stuff!
..............................................................................................................................................................
Melinday Staley also created a FUN hybrid design for us based on the sketch! Melinda printed out the "Melody digital flourishes" right on Life In Colors paper. After cutting them out she added the custom fit Say It In Crystal swirls. The flourishes pull out the purple in the photos and add so much movement to this page. How cool is that?
.................................................................................................................................................
Jaime Warren used the circle theme in a totally different way! Nesting her circles not only makes for lots of textural interest, but it also draws your eye to the most important part of the layout: the gorgeous photos! Jaime then added some Galaxy Stars, Say It In Pearls and a lovely, springtime butterfly to the fabulous design!
..............................................................................................................................................................
Sharon Laakkonen went for a brightly-colored, fun look with her sketch layout! Using Signs of Spring paper, Sharon added a few Say It In crystals swirls and Mini Page Pebbles to keep the layout clean and simple. Prima's stitched letters adds lots of additional color, while the smallest circle catches her journaling.

A quick question, if you want to participate in your challenges, do we have to use Prima products ... I don't have any yet, and sure would like to play along for a chance to win some...?

We would love to see how you use our products, but it is not a requirement to join in the fun!

To print a BAP sketch: Click on the BAP photo. Then click "FILE" and then "PRINT" (located on your browser short-cut bar).
If that does not work on your computer simply "right-click" the photo and save it to your computer to print.
