Two New Design Team Members!

Prima is excited to add two new "Flower Girls" to our talented team!

Presenting Anja Wade...

Hi! I’m Anja Wade. I live in Massachusetts and teach high school and college chemistry. I’ve been keeping journals for as long as I can remember. Around 1999, I was browsing in a craft store and decided to buy some scrapbooking papers and markers to use in my journals. Shortly thereafter, I started officially scrapbooking. Now my scrapbooks ARE my journals. So a lot of my layouts are about me, my thoughts, funny things I want to remember, goals, etc. I also love scrapping my parents, siblings and friends, since I don’t have any kids yet. And I am the keeper of all the old family photos, so I often dig into my huge stash of pics from the 70s and 80s – I love doing that!

I look forward to teaching at Canada's Scrapbooking "Crop for Kids" in London, Ontario this coming October and seeing some of my work published in the upcoming "Dare" book, due out in August. I also design for Cocoa Daisy and Scrap Gal. I’m so excited to be joining the Prima team! When I’m not scrapping, I enjoy cooking, reading, watching Scrubs, and running (I’m training for a half-marathon).

Presenting Brittany Laakkonen...

Hi, my name is Brittany Laakkonen. I have an awesome dad, a mom who scrapbooks with me, and six siblings. I have been scrapbooking since I was fourteen. When I'm not scrapping, I'm either down in the scrap room giving mom design pointers and chatting (love ya, mom), watching sappy movies with my two sisters, or memorizing books of the Bible. I love hanging out with my large (and oftentimes crazy) family. I scrapbook mainly as a creative outlet for myself and also to document as many of those crazy, memorable moments as possible. I have been published in various scrapbooking magazines such as Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbooks Etc., Memory Makers and PaperCrafts. I am so excited to be asked to be a "Flower Girl"...now I can legally dig into mom's Prima stash!

Brittany was named to the 2006 Creating Keepsake's "Hall of Fame". .......................................................................................................................................................

Brittany was our first ever Prima "Guest Designer" and she helps out with Prima projects here and there. She recently traveled to CHA to help in the Prima booth. While at CHA Brittany created this embossed chipboard layout in her hotel room. We love how she uses a variety of fun techniques on her designs and her love of hybrid layouts.
