Jennifer Matott created these garden boots completely out of paper! Using the Zephyr line was perfect for this adorable boots.
This project was created for CHA Summer 2012 and when I created it, I was in a summer mood. The colors in the Zephyr line are bright and cheery with lots of flowers, dots, and cute ladybugs printed on them. I used 3 different papers from the line to create the pieces of the boots. I made a pattern for each piece first and then assembled the pieces using a cardboard base and hot glue! Once they were put together, I embellished with the quote "Love is a flower you have to grow" and lots of new flowers!
I love these bottle cap embellishments! That ladybug is so perfect as a bauble with the ribbon.
Beautiful canvas resist butterflies adorn the boots among the flowers with bling as their bodies. I colored them with Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Gelatos.
Here you can see the cardboard base of the boots. I just adore these little boots which are kid's sized. I have them displayed in my house by my front door and they brighten my entrance with their color and details!

Jen, I think these boots are absolutely gorgeous !!!! I can see all the hard work and love that went into them. They make my heart sing.
