Last month I shared a wood piece that I had painted and altered with Prima flowers, I would like to show you the second piece in the pair. I love how Prima's products can be used in so many different ways; from cards to scrapbooks, altered art and wearable pieces. So many possibilities.
Here is a 12 x 12 wood piece. I used a variety of Prima flowers to build her hair piece, layering small flowers on top of each other to add dimension and texture. I deconstructed some of the flowers to make leaves. I cut the petals apart and sprayed them with mist to alter them and then added them to the ends of my branches.
I wanted to show how the flowers have so much potential. How they can be altered and changed to match your style and astetic.
A fun way to put centers into those little "got flowers" is...find a small glass bead to finish them with. They will add a nice finishing touch to the staple flower.
You could also take this same technique and idea and use it on a photo. Give you little princess a crown of flowers or a copy of your grandmother's wedding photo a romantic touch.
