Cindy Tobey created this absolutely GORGEOUS card using a few select Prima products: IOD paper, a large Maxie Can flower and a brand new Belle Fleur Carnation! Cindy added stitching on the leaf for extra detail and dimension. Isn't this the coolest card ever?

What a fun project this is! Iris created this Mother's Day shadow box (out of a Prima tin) which holds a precious photo of Iris and her adorable daughter! A few Say It In Crystals add sparkle to the design, while a variety of Prima flowers add dimension and color. Iris finished the box off with a strand of musical Harmony ribbon!

Christine Middlecamp created this lovely card using Tea & Silk papers (810535) and a gorgeous layered flower centered with a Vintage Brad (517663)! A Say It In Crystals swirl (517328) adds so much to the design, while Prima's Whispered Words letters (812034) are used to compose the title. Isn't this a beautiful design?

Bold O' Lay and Duo Stamps!

Duo Stamps: Prima's new Duo Stamps are perfect for layering items on your designs! First stamp your letter, then add a perfectly-sized-to-fit Times Chipboard letter on top!  Of course, you can use them alone too.

Cari Fennell uses the Duo stamps to create her initials on this gorgeous design! After stamping the initials, she colored in the letters and then cut the images out and used them for her title. Even though these stamps were created to use with the Times chipboard letters you can see how cool they are used on their own too! (Letters used: C-810610; F-810641)

Janine Wahl uses the Duo stamps for title help on both of her layouts shown here! After stamping, Janine used art mediums to color the areas to match her design on the Love layout, while stamping on cardstock for the Nature Boy layout! (Letters used: W-810808, N-810726)

The Goods and Build-A-Swirl Stamps!

Today we are featuring two more stamp lines by Prima.

The Goods is a line of individual stamps available in 18 amazing styles. There are a wide variety of hearts, journaling spots and corner stamps to choose from!

The Build-A-Swirl stamps come in four different, gorgeous sets. These stamps were created to be used along with Say It In Crystals or Say It In Studs stickers! Let's see what the design team has come up with while using these new stamps!

Each of The Goods stamps are available individually, which makes them perfect for a point-of-sale display or for kit clubs! There are 18 different styles to choose from.  (Item # 830328 shown at left)

Mara-May Baca used a single heart stamp (830243) from "The Goods" line to create this beautiful card for a baby. The single stamps are a great way to buy just the designs you want at a wonderful price point!

Prima's new Build-A-Swirl stamps were created to work alongside Say It In Crystals and  Say It In Studs! After you stamp your design simply lay a crystal or stud sticker over it for a multi-dimensional effect on your layout or card! Each stamp set comes with large, medium and small swirls that are oriented in both directions (left and right) to allow you endless custom swirl possibilities!

Brittany Laakkonen added the perfect touches to this layout using the Build-A-Swirl stamps. She added Say It In Studs on top of the stamping for tons of visual interest! (stamp set used: 810566, Say It In Studs used: 811389)

Here is a close-up of the Say It In Studs sticker on top of the Build-A-Swirl stamped image. The match does not have to be perfect. The layered look helps your crystals go further by packing more punch than when used alone!

Sharon Laakkonen used the same Build-A-Swirl stamp set for this charming little page about her 3 year-old "puppy". See how versatile the crystals and studs are with the stamps sets? Sharon even cut some crystals apart (using half a sticker) to stretch them a bit further!

Clear Stamp Feature!!

At the last trade show Prima revealed five new lines of clear stamps. Over the next few days we are going to show you gorgeous projects from our design team featuring the stamps.

Lets start with the No. 5 clear stamp sets by Christina Renee for Prima. This line includes six different gorgeous sets. Each 8.5 x 11 sheet has a variety of coordinating cool stamps! Even the packaging is ultra-hip!

Adrienne Looman shows how to take one No. 5 stamp set and create your very own custom paper background! Stamp a few designs all over the white cardstock. Next, color the design in slightly with any color you love. Add a bit of black ink to grunge it up. Cut the cardstock in half and use for a card base!

Brittany Laakkonen used the Funky Alphabet set to create this layout. She simply used black Staz-On ink for a great stamp impression right on the patterned paper. Brittany also used a chandelier and a clock stamp to make her own elements!

For this card Cari Fennell stamped the very cool ruler image right on the card and then the butterflies and the greeting on separate pieces of paper. Cut them out and add them to the card for extra dimension. Use the same color ink for unity!

Once again Cari uses layering to add visual interest to her card. After stamping the gorgeous flower design onto patterned paper she followed it up with a greeting that is matted. A few ribbons tie this beautiful card together! See how easy, yet effective, stamping can be on your creations?

Sharon Laakkonen used stamped images to create raised effects on these two cards! After stamping the images on paper, simply cut them out and pop them up on foam squares! For an extra cute window, cut out each "pane" and back with patterned paper, then add a stamped bird on top of it.

For the "Mom" card, stamp your frame on white cardstock; adhere to the card with foam squares for height. Add a title inside the frame, then add a layered flower. Stamp leaves with green ink, cut them out and tuck them slightly under the flower!

Feeling Lucky? This layout by Cindy Tobey showcases a few fun techniques and ideas:

1) Cindy transformed a felt flower into a 4 leaf clover. Simply cut a stem out of one of the five petals and ink the edges of the clover leaves to add subtle shading.

2) She also used a PrimaHybrid alphabet for the title. Size the letters in Photoshop, print them onto cardstock, color them in with yellow pencil and cut them out.

3) Finally paint a chipboard shape (The Goods) and added some machine stitching to it for a cool look.

It's A Duo Day!

Prima's brand new DUO Clear Stamps come with two stamp designs in each package! These monogram letters are perfect for SOOOO many projects!

You can use the Duo stamps straight on white cardstock and then colorize with chalk and pens. This wall sign was created using Morning Song paper (810399, )the Duo stamps (B-810603, O-810733), a bit of glitter chalk and a bit of penwork.

Sharon made this little sign for her daughter's room. She popped the stamped nickname piece onto some cardboard for dimension and then tucked a few Painterly Petals (524265) behind the design. A new Say It In Crystals center (522063) finishes off the design with a touch of sparkle! Simply tie a piece of ribbon to the sign and hang on a doorknob or wall for a personalized little gift!

Again, the Duo stamps were created to use with Prima's Times chipboard letters. These two products are a match made in heaven! Brittany Laakkonen simply stamped her monogram on a piece of Tea & Silk patterned paper and then added the corresponding chipboard letter. A few hearts are cut out of Prima's new Collage papers (850074). The mulberry collage papers add tons of pattern and interest to the design!

It's Not Too Early...

...to start thinking about making your Valentine's Day Cards!

This card is filled with texture and sparkle! Here are the complete directions and supply list so that you can recreate it on your own!

Supplies:

• 602222 Chance patterned paper (Caliope collection)

• 519483 Elysee ribbon-light pink

• 511500 Say It In Crystals charm-rose heart

• 517397 Say It In Crystals swirl-pink

• 517083 Prima chipboard letters-Steel Toe Mary Jane

• light and medium pink cardstock, white paper doily (4 inches), piece of cardboard, light brown ink, embossing folder, Fabri-Tac adhesive

Directions:

1. Cut a 6x12 piece of Chance paper. Score and fold to form a 6 inch square card.

2. Run a 5x5 piece of medium pick cardstock through an embossing machine (I used a Cuttlebug with the textile template. Since the cardstock is larger than the template simply run it through twice, moving the folder over each time.) If you do not have an embossing template feel free to skip this step.

3. Ink the embossed area with light brown ink (I love Antique Linen Distress ink by Ranger.) Adhere the pink cardstock to the patterned paper card.

4. Adhere a paper doily on top of the pink cardstock.

5. Cut a 2.5 inch heart out of light pink cardstock. Emboss with textile folder. Ink all edges. Adhere this to a small square of cardboard.

6. Tie a knot in the middle of a strand of the pink Elysee ribbon. Dangle a Crystal Heart Charm from the knot (I used the twist tie that comes with the crystal charm. Just tuck the twist tie ends inside the ribbon knot to hide them.)

7. Glue the ribbon to the heart tucking the ends behind. (I used Fabri-tac by Beacon Adhesives.) Adhere this finished heart piece in the center of the paper doily.

8. Add your chipboard letters to the card as shown. If you want to slightly overlap them add a touch of Fabri-Tac to the backs of the letters to give them extra holding power.

9. Add a small crystal swirl sticker to the letter L.

10. Add a 5 inch square pink cardstock to the inside of the card and write your special Valentine's message on it!

Fast and Easy Christmas Cards!

Here are a few easy Prima designs to inspire you to get those Christmas cards done!

  Both of these festive cards feature a sparkling Say It In Crystals charm as the centerpiece! (Item numbers: 511555 & 511302)

Merry Christmas is a very fast card to make! Add a square of Eire paper (600235) to a red card. Stitch around the outside of the card. Add an ambrosia flower (509729) to the center. Apply a Prima chipboard title (516208) around the flower. Tie a little bow (507626) on to your Crystal charm and attach to the center of the flower!

Joy takes just a wee bit more time. Cut a window out of the sage card slightly larger than the Crystal charm. Using that square as a guide, cut a slightly larger window out of the Shannon patterned paper (600280 ). Attach the paper to the card. Run a strip of ribbon (507541) across the bottom. Add your Prima chipboard title letters (516253). On the inside of the card attach your Crystal charm so it peeks through the double window! You may want to add a piece of contrasting cardstock to the inside of your card. Cards designed by Sharon Laakkonen

Shawna Webster pulled out a few lime-colored Prima Sprites and a Paintable to make this bright and cheery card! Shawna added a few black flowers for contrast and two Prima Fancies for a touch of shimmering goodness! She then tied the stunning design together with a touch of gorgeous Elysee ribbon trim.

Cari Fennell created a beautiful Christmas card that is fast and easy to lift! The delicate lime Chemise paper sets the perfect backdrop for the other elements...Elysee rich, velvet-embossed ribbon, sparkly Christmas Bubble flowers, and a strip of Starlet paper for a touch of whimsy!Add a few stamped touches and your card is done in no time at all!

Brittany Laakkonen's delicate creation is another design that is simple to copy. Starting with Her Perogative pink-striped notebook paper as the base, she simply added a strip of Elysee velvet ribbon and then layered a few flowers (Minnie Can, Black Tie, Prima Fancies and Hydrangea Petals) before adding an IOD Vintage Brad and an epoxy sentiment. Take note that the Black Tie flower can be customized to match your design. Brittany chalked and inked the white flower for a subtle hint of color! ............................................................................................................................................
Sharon Laakkonen used a Prima Pasties note as the base for this card design (Stickie Notes-517755). The Pasties come in a variety of patterns and are perfect for card making! Sharon popped them up on a piece of cardboard before attaching to the cardstock (for some added height and stability.) Tucking some Christmas Bubbles and Chatres Lace flowers along the side and topping the card off with an IOD epoxy sentiment sticker creates a beautiful design that is perfect for a variety of occasions! ..............................................................................................................................................

It's a Pink Thursday!

Michelle Guray created a beautifully eclectic card that is perfect for a variety of occasions! The fashionable Prima Tawdry paper sets the backdrop for the funky layered flower made from a Minnie Me flower, a Fun Felt flower and then topped with a Belle Fleur silk flower. Wouldn't this be perfect for someone special in your life?

Sharon Laakkonen created this delightful card using all pink and white flowers. The greeting area is created with a Build-A-Frame stamp and a Say It In Crystal frame. Adding hot pink letters (that were colored with a Sakura glitter pen), sets the title off. (This card is versatile enough to be used for a baby card, a girl's birthday, a wedding card or even a Christmas card!)  Pop your greeting area up on foam squares and slip a bunch of Heavenly and Christmas Bubble flowers around the frame. Add a few small crystal flourishes and your Prima card is complete! .............................................................................................................................................
Tina Freeman created this super fast and easy card using all Prima products. From the soft winter white Whisper flower to the delicate Miss Adventure paper...this card comes together very quickly and can be customized in no time at all. Just run a slip of the patterned paper through your printer with any sentiment you desire and adhere to your card! .............................................................................................................................................
How about one more pink card? Brittany Laakkonen used a brand new Fun Felt flower (520328) as the base for this adorable card. Adding a polka-dotted Minnie Can flower adds contrast and provides the perfect place for the "love" IOD Epoxy Sticker. A touch of black ink lends the perfect shabby chic touch.
