IOD Vintage Art Décor Moulds - "Keyholes" - 815301, IOD Vintage Art Decor Moulds - "Large Fleurish" - 815318, I used Quickset Resin, but IOD Paper Clay works too! Chalkboard Paint - Egg Blue - 577216, Art Alchemy Acrylic Paint - Metallique Gold - 963071, I used Dark Wax by Annie Sloan, but try out Finnabair's Art Alchemy-Metallique Wax- Bronze Age!
"This secretary desk began as a dark and sad-looking antique just begging for a little glamour and glitz."
"I paint decoratively for a profession, so that part comes easy to me. Even with an amazing paint finish, this piece still required something extra and I knew just where to find it: IOD Décor Moulds!"
"For this Secretarial makeover, I selected a keyhole mould to create additional character on what was a plain door front. I still wanted more personality, so I selected an additional IOD Mould and custom fitted it by making a small hole in order to feed the drawer pull screws through it.
"I love how the addition of IOD Décor Moulds completed the look I was wanting for this piece."
Thank you, Desiree, for such a beautiful and inspirational project! IOD and DIY home décor are just perfect for one other, right?!?
