This gorgeous tag, created by Robin Shakoor, formed the starting point for our "Scraplift Me" post this month. She has so many gorgeous layers and elements on her tag: striped paper straws, Prima Flowers, Typo Bulbs, leaves, hearts, string, Druzy Stones, and so much more! Our designers were inspired to create their own projects using the color palette, Robin's techniques, or her amazing composition of the tag. We would like to invite you to scraplift us as well!
"I just love the pops of color mixed with white on Robin's tag, and I couldn't wait to make a weaving using the same palette. Did you spy the paper straws on Robin's tag? I even wove one into my piece! The floral detail on the tag is the perfect touch, and very Prima, so I added some pretty Flowers and berries too in the fun zesty colours." ~ Aideen Fallon

"It can be fun to scraplift occasionally, especially when you have a beautiful project to become your inspiration. I loved that Robin used straws on her project. I am forever buying them, but seldom using them, so that was my jumping off spot for my project. I used the original colors and basic layout, but added pink, and some of my own touches, too. You might notice the printed flowers that enhance the floral clusters. I used Prima's new Watercolor Coloring Book along with the new Pastel Watercolor Confections to create it. Simply have fun coloring, then cut out your favorite parts and use them again! It's a two for one!" ~ Robbie Herring

"I really enjoyed scrap lifting Robin's tag! I was inspired by her color combination, those gorgeous delicate paper leaves, and her use of paper straws. What can I say, Robin's tag is stunning and a big thank you to her for allowing us to scrap lift it." ~ Joanne Bain

"I had so much fun having a spin at the gorgeous tag by Robin. I kept the basic layout the same, and used a lot of the same elements. But I chose to go a little more mixed media and abstract on some of the ideas. I love the new Confetti Dies, so I replaced the wooden hearts with the negatives and positives from the heart confetti die. They are so cute! Lots of splashes here and there, and some extra Finnabair goodies and I was happy with the look. Play along with us and lets see your spin!" ~ Miranda Edney
